respa, 02 Aug 2008absolutely perfect phone, but I wont buy another phone with... morewhy is it a need? A touchscreen doesn't necessarily make the experience better.

absolutely perfect phone, but I wont buy another phone without touchscreen anymore. I have a N95 and touchscreen is a need in these high-end phones.

BTW one more thing....holy crap the images are amazing!!! and from a pre-production phone...its better than My 6mp Cyber-Shot DSC-W50!!!......

Nice Preview guys its alot more to the point and your comparing different elements to the right phones is great....and the comparing images...giving a croped snap is great...it saves for having to save the actual images and view them all same size...
BTW just one thing...the rotation eye candy....thats a FP2 thing...on the N78 when you turn on the camera it zooms out and rotates the screen....maybe because that phone did not have auto screen rotate you did't see it.....However does this have smooth scrolling....and i'm kinda disappointed by images galley i though they had something like Nseires....infact i though it was better cause in one of the offical pics its got pictures coming in lines....looks like a slide show.....and looks better than the Nseries slide show.....Good job guys!!!

almost perfect phone for now, if only they included dvb-h
hope they release it in silver too, or any other color, black is too boring already

If last year Nokia & Apple always surprising me, this year (and maybe next) was Samsung turn. After i450 (great music smartphone with Bang & Olufsen audio chip), i900 Omnia (Windows Mobile multimedia powerhouse) and the last i8510 INNOV8.
I think Samsung has great R&D division right now. They're quick learner and also fast when working in a new product.

wow the first look made me really anxious for the reall review!:)i think its the best phone ever,takin the crown from nokia n96..it seems that this time samsung made everything right.although samsung impressed with great symbian phones lately,they`ve really outdone themselves with this one.nobody saw it comin:)cant wait for the whole review.

Great device but only if the brand is Nokia...
Samsung making great devices now days...Thumbs up but why they apply such an ugly theme...non symbian users thought the User interface is bad and dont buy it while we must say its just a theme and Symbian themes can change everything including icons not like fool phones from SE with basic OS...
Nokia has Ngage...Samsung has nothing but that u have inside the phone box...i will continue using my E90 Communicator till the next CCommunicator generation from Nokia or Samsung or any brand i dont care..(But if its SE i will never buy it off coarse).

The interface is horrible! Both its looks and organization have failed to impress me one bit.
The looks of the handset itself aren't much better either (especially the back).
A nice phone otherwise, but for these sole reasons I wouldn't buy it.

This preview was fantastic! Thanks Phonearena. I have the Apple Iphone, but now looking at this I am actually tempted to return to an all numerical key device hehe
Its great. Design is fantastic, camera produces true digital camera like quality and it has large onboard memory. This is a MASSIVE step in the right directio for Samsung. Great Job! No offence but its WAY better than the ugly C905...
