My wife dropped a jug of lemonade on it as it was just laying on the table. Body was intact, there was a slight crack at the side of the Gorilla glass, but display was shot to hell. Top 1/4 of it was not working so I went to Samsung repair center, had to wait about a week for new screen to arrive, but I bought it and they've replaced it in a matter of an hour.

After few days, around the punch hole I noticed some dead pixels, which was only noticeable when white ring indicated face recognition. With time, the dead zone grew larger and larger, and at the end it reached the top bezel. It would probably keep growing, but the service center accepted this as a fault and took it in for another repair. That was a month ago.

The day before yesterday, when switching from Spigen to Samsung case, I've dropped the phone on the floor. Got a small scratch on titanium frame, and unfortunately, around the same punch hole, the same island of dead pixels showed up again.
Till then, I didn't see it growing (but observation is in progress), but I'm just about done with S24 Ultra.
I should've gone for Motorola that I considered at that time, but I always like the stylus. I don't think it'll sway me Samsung's way this time around though. I've lost confidence in their quality.

And I sure as hell wouldn't call Motorola garbage, not in comparison.

      The Edge 50U can use all 4 of its cameras in any third part app or social media.

                I would even wait multiple minutes if it means a better result.

                I was also doing that with Gcam 100 Images stack on my Moto one zoom, completely worth it to wait the 30 secs to a Minute for the result.

                      Moosakutty, 06 Aug 2024Thank you So this is not a problem But today i have notic... morei know this will sound stupid, but do try it. put it in a container full of a desiccant (silica gel beads, or even dry rice). and place it in a warm place. the place has to be warm, the warmth will drive the moisture out, and the desiccant will capture it.

                      i placed my water damaged, non ip rated phone in a 3L container that was about half filled with rice. i then placed it on a window sill inside the house (a window that gets quite a bit of afternoon sun). i think i left it for 2 days, all the water was out.

                      IP rating on phones just means that they designed it as such, but it is no guarantee of water protection. you even find that on the fine print of proper ip69k rated phones.

                      if you care, some bastard on youtube claimed my phone (not an ip rated phone) was water resistant and placed it in water. i did it while swimming and it shutdown by itself, water was everywhere (including the lens). god i hate youtube's random reviewers 😹

                        So this is not a problem
                        But today i have noticed a new problem
                        Condensation on primary camera
                        While using camera for 40 seconds the fog completely covering the primary camera lense. Then photo and video are totally fades.
                        Then I have to wait to 30 seconds to clear fog out
                        Means can't record videos or take photos continuously more than 1 minute
                        So I can't really use camera
                        I purchased a headache by spending my money.
                        If some body have any solution please help me out
                        (Actually I love this phone because of design and ui. I want to solve the issue only. Not to change the phone)

                          as for water resistance, I think it shouldn't be a problem

                          (now don't go dip your phone in the bathtub lol. If any water does get into your phone by any chance, your warranty will be void)

                            Did you tested the dark model under water. I've noticed a tiny opening on back panel near volume rockers on my edge 50 ultra. I went to service center, they showed me same device also having same opening and they told me this is common. Then I checked photos on your website and I see an opening on same place of your dark one model (grey only. The wood edition have no issues) so I realised that this is normal.I asked them about IP68 rating. They told me that there is no warrenty if water gone inside.
                            I saw the same opening on your device on your photos that you have posted on your website (dark grey only)
                            I want to know will this opening affect my phone's IP rating what is your test results of under water (grey edition).
                            I have commented same on your YouTube channel too.

                                    Thought people know that by now.

                                    This phone is so ugly, curved screens are dead yet Motorola keeps churning out these phones that nobody wants. I think 4.3 is way too high rating for this phone.

                                    I'd much rather buy a 512gb Samsung S24 Ultra for around the same price or even slightly more than this garbage.
