Or in another words... Huawei Mate 20X and several other brands already tried to go beyond 7" but it wasn't accepted as well as they expected. Sure, you liked it, some Joe, but who else? Not many people because phone with 7" and beyond are really hard to hold or carry for most of people. 165mm in height is where these giga phones are expected to be in size and 7" phones are close to 175mm which is maybe conviniant to you, but not for the most of people.
But in a world we living in, where most of people don't bother to use a laptop or a pc and they do everything on their phone from gaming to bussiness tasks, I wouldn't be surprised if we get bigger screens in the future.

This phone is overpriced, I thought I want to replace my old GT 3 with this to be paired with my new Iqoo 12 but the price 16/512 of GT 6 is almost the same

I have bought GT neo 6Se and GT 6t, the screen of the GT neo6 se is more bright that the GT 6T. It's a shame because it's the same model ( chinese vs global version). I have the realme 12 pro and under the sun the screen of the GT 6T is equally britght as realme 12 pro ( 950 nits ) far from 1600 nits. It's a software issue or limitation. I hope an update frome realme

At this price, OnePlus 12R & OnePlus 11 comes to this price during sales, which makes them worthy competitor. Hopefully If Vivo can do something with V50 Pro at this same price (8+ Gen 1/8 Gen 2 is what people expect from it but knowing Vivo they'll go for 8300).
