totally worst phonetotally worst phone, it’s like they took all the good features and threw them out the window. The battery life? A joke. You barely get through a day without searching for a charger. The camera might as well be a potato; every picture looks blurry or washed out. Don’t even get me started on the software glitches! One minute you're scrolling, and the next, it's freezing like it’s trying to contemplate the meaning of life.
And the call quality? Half the time, I can’t even hear who I’m talking to; it's like trying to communicate through a tin can. Plus, the design? Basic and clunky, feels like it was made in a rush. It's embarrassing to pull it out in public. Honestly, what were they thinking?! If this is what they call innovation, I’d rather stick to my old flip phone!

Hello, I bought this phone on Sunday, September 1st and I returned it on Tuesday for the following reasons: listening to the speaker in hands-free mode is very low when connected via Bluetooth to the car, the sound is also very low coming out of the speakers. It is impossible to have an acknowledgment of receipt on text messages, I had to install other software to obtain them and it is also impossible to have a dedicated ringtone per contact, although this is validated in the system it does not take it into account, charging is very long, about 3 hours with a 37-watt Xiaomi charger, not to mention that it is delivered without a charger, too many negative elements for me.

All the people saying this phone is e-waste are completely misusing the word. E-waste is a term for electronics that are thrown away, not for a phone you think isn't worth the price.
If you strongly feel that way, then don't freaking buy this phone. Corporations don't owe you a "good" phone for insanely cheap prices, they make whatever they feel like it. You as a consumer can vote with your wallets.
Also, judge something for what it is, not what it isn't or what you wish it should've been.

So Xiaomi is jumping into the "No charger in box" train, eh?
What's next? No battery? No screen? In the future, we might even have to pay a subscription to use the phone. What I don't get is this: what are all these companies doing with so much money? :O Imagine having like 100 mil. $ at your disposal... If I'm spending 20K $ / month, I should be able to live without working for the next 200 years (inflation considered). That's f...ed up, man... A lot of people can barley get from one month to the other.... There's something seriously wrong with this world. And we're arguing about phones! =D

I wonder if it's just poor software or cheaper, more power-hungry OLED panels compared to what Realme uses. Like Realme GT 6 has the same chipset as Poco F6 and only 10% larger battery but it gets way better battery life.

Cortex-A75 really isn't good at all in 2024. Bare minimum is at least 4x Cortex-A76, or better yet A78. Coupled with slow eMMC and subpar battery life it's just a terrible value. Actually the poor battery life is becoming a trend with Xiaomi and their sister brands as of late. Is it down mostly to poor software optimization, or perhaps cheaper screens that are less energy-efficient?

Battery perf looks pretty bad for a phone that big and heavey and 5000mah.
I have a tablet with g99, it is ok, sometimes really annoying sluggish on bad coded sites like Amazon.
So I wouldn't go for the weaker g91 i mean.

The camera produces rather natural photos, which is almost the sole good feature here.
No charger? emmc? G85 (91) in 2024? Beyond my understanding. This is honestly not worthy phone for modern days.

Heck, redmi 10 is better than this. Only lose to camera performance and storage size.

Waste of precious earth minerals. Unoptimized OS and slow processor, the winning combination of making people avoid your brand in future.

this phone is electronic waste In 2019
I bought a Xiaomi Mi A3 (I still have it) and I dare to say that it is better than this
Advice: buy a mid-range from 2021-2022 for the same price, new in the box.

Pumpino, 23 Jun 2024Yeah, Motorola has pretty good hardware in its cheaper mode... moreThis is another gimmick phone as known from offline market where a gimmick gets promoted and it's otherwise underspecced

The phone is full of commercials, I strongly recommend anybody who don't want to be "the product" themselves, to stay away from the Redmi series!
