DroitwichGas, 30 Jun 2024I've used a OP Nord for 4 years with nightly fast char... moreYup. Never had battery issues either and we're on the OnePlus phone number 2, 3 and 4 in this house right now (first one was almost 10 years ago with other brands inbetween) on top of my brother and both parents. Next purchase for one of the kids will be OnePlus too.

As far as I know OnePlus fast charging operates at different volts/amps than other quick charging standards. This means it's incompatible with the other brands in that regard and will charge slowly, but that they can charge with more power with own chargers. a Reddit user sums it up here: https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus/comments/pcwku3/comment/ham32to/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2024Old chipset, no 4k video, no ultrawide, bloatware (Gsmarena... moreBloatware is minimal with OxygenOS and the OP website clearly confirms 2 x OS updates & 3 years Security updates, with the various discounts on offer it is a £200/€200 device. Not really sure missing out on 4K is that bigger issue given the low cost of the device.

Anonymous, 30 Jun 2024Yeah design is great The battery back up and fast charger ... moreI've used a OP Nord for 4 years with nightly fast charging with no apparent battery issues.

The battery back up and fast charger is what i am worried about. Because fast charger with 80w + plus i dont trust, especially when samsung and iphone are still sticking with 33w and some .
              It may harm

This phone really does back up the argument that a two year old upper midrange phone provides more value than a new lower midrange phone

Have always a 'woow' about 1+ designs. But I have always returned them because of os, bloatty spyi sluggy updaty, weak camera, bugs... at last everything but the design was great.

Old chipset, no 4k video, no ultrawide, bloatware (Gsmarena's own word), no mention of any guaranteed software support..
But what you do get is a high price in Europe.. same price as the Nord 3 is currently going for.. crazy

OP on the chipset choice : "3rd times the charm."

Jokes aside, can't believe they're using the SD695 THREE times now on this CE Lite lineup. Nord CE 2 Lite, Nord CE 3 Lite and now Nord CE 4 Lite.

What a joke, the SD695 has been shown to be a terrible chipset back then and OP is using it... again? At least the SD870 was good when it's reused in Poco F4 from Poco F3, for example.
