You can't pop up the screw...

The concept is appreciated but in everything else it falters...

Phone is ok, just that. Competition is always welcomed. But for slightly more, u can get nothing phone 2a which is basically one class above and is worth it. Plus, a55 can also be found for less than 300€ now, which is one scale above to. Btw, a35 in 6/128gb version is 220€, and i think that it is better deal. I don't recommend Redmi devices, cause Hyper os is a mess and battery life is disaster.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2024Why would you buy this trash with zero local support instea... moreLocal support? You mean those companies that Samsung makes you send the phone to make use of warranty and they usually sc*m you? A35 6gb version cost 50€ more (CMF has 8gb), worse battery life and a bit worse performance

I agree with commenters, this phone is e-waste and absurd
                - non removable battery
                - but no IP rating
                - removable back with screws
                - but no drop protection
                - big bezels
                - but punch hole camera
                - no 3.5mm jack at this price range
                - gimmick depth camera but no OIS for main camera
                - it weights more than S24+ which has 3 actual cameras and a bigger screen

                  no nfc, no buy

Deliberately making battery non removable, means its a conspiracy. You have a defunct cover to change colours, that's it?!

Now, I'm convinced someone is controlling the smartphone industry. USA, NSA or whoever it is, and they're bothered when someone breaks their tracking systems.

I don't think, we'll ever get another smartphone with user removable battery. Launch one to prove me wrong.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2024I dont understand what you guys expect from a 200€/$ phone,... moreWhy would you buy this trash with zero local support instead of a Samsung A35?

                          no nfc🤦

Non removable battery, no NFC and no stereo speakers. 😐

Alright first CMF phone, perform nice, all the shortcomings here Nothing might fix everything in CMF Phone 2 like without NFC, OIS etc. Good start for CMF... easy to recommend for those who want fast performance.

They need to make a case with double the battery.

I dont understand what you guys expect from a 200€/$ phone, you dont get NFC and wireless charging, but you get decent performance and very good efficiency, efficiency is so underrated these days.

"Colors look pretty nice and natural". So you had a gray sky when shooting? How did this utter rubbish get a 4.0? Unique aesthetics and that's it.

No NFC means no contactless payments etc, what was Carl Pei thinking behind that strange omission?

Nothing bashing other companies' marketing use is its form of marketing.. I think the new CMF Phone 1 is about what I expected.
