Nobody knows what earlier Pad you are ... morethis only denotes that you've never researched - the clipboards used by medics in hospitals, the landing PAD used by pilots or even the mention in Star Trek series where this hand held device contained information shared among the crew; I believe it is the general consent that Star Trek imagined the precursor of today's tablet; stop thinking that Apple invented everything - just have a look at how many things they've took from Beats when they bought the company and labeled them with their logo

      No GPS !!!! I missed this in all the reviews and videos. Was continuing to look at reviews while awaiting delivery and discovered this on Reddit. Total deal breaker for me. Awaiting RMA from Oneplus to return everything unopened. My Bad !

            I'd have traded the 8 gen 3 for an 8s gen 3/ 8 gen 2 or even a 7 gen 3 if it meant we could get an OLED screen at 500 euros.

                  No cellular \ native calling, UFS 3.1 only, no 125w charging, no audio jack. Meh

                  I suggest also, to further differentiate, removable & separately chargeable battery- tablets don't need waterproof anyway.
                  And Fold version.

                    Wait, no biometric security? I'm not gonna type in my passcode every time like a caveman. How much can that fingerprint sensor cost, $5 maybe. Massive oversight, total disappointment

                      High end tablet that won't suffer from burn in for those if us that don't like making e waste every 2 years. Pretty solid product!

                              PanRT, 16 Aug 2024Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro is best tablet with good Price.No it's crap.
                              The system is unoptimized trash.
                              SOC cooling is pathetic (90 - 100 °C in CPU load is not normal), phones can do 60 - 70 °C.
                              It is more expensive that Pad 2 for 12GB version.
                              Zero SW support (3 security updates since release, no QOL fixes to the trash HypeOS in half a year...).
                              It is slower than Pad 2 by ALOT, especially in the GPU department.
                              My 120W charger caught on fire by itself... Xiaomi ignored the issue and basically told me to f off.

                              That's why I'm selling this trash and buying Pad 2.

Seems one plus tune it for better battery life as default. Runs super smooth so makes sense. Performance mode can be turned on when needed. Pretty much only gaming would require it.

                                    OnePlus Pad 2 seems amazing having gone through various sources of reviews. Specs wise / value for money wise. Available as the best Android tablet to get in 2024 without breaking your bank.

                                    But for me personally, the aspect ratio is a bummer. My primary usage of a tablet is
                                    1. Multimedia consumption &
                                    2. Casual Gaming

                                    This aspect ratio kills the multimedia experience with BIG FAT UGLY black bars. Zoom in doesn't help either, only makes the content look even awkward.

                                    I shall wait for a 16:9 Android tablet that beats One plus Pad 2 in near future, to get my first Tablet.

                                      I see no-sales on contrast ratio
                                      Could OnePlus soft-fix these?
                                      Low screen contrast ratio.
                                      No fingerprint scanner.
                                      Poor camera quality.
                                      No desktop UI.
