Surprised they didn't list the Honor 200 as an alternative. It has a very similar camera setup but has OIS on the 2.5x telephoto so the cameras are closely matched (the zoom camera hardware is even better on the Honor 200). Obviously performance isn't nearly as good with the snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but the 8,000 or so lower price (looking at Amazon India) also reflects that

I had pre booked this civi phone. I got it on the very first day of it's launch but i am sorry to say that i am facing problems. Every time the phone stops and i receive a message that MIUI is not responding. If anyone from Xiaomi is reading this please send an update of this phone and rectify this anamoly. I am facing a lot hardships for the same

Anonymous, 28 Aug 2024Should have used 7g3 and have more budget for battery and b... moreTrue.. Xiaomi doesn't have lineup with SD 7 Gen 3 yet. It should be Xiaomi Civi 4 (non Pro) aka Xiaomi 14 Lite for global but I doubt it will be exist.

Manufacturers should skip 2x zoom telephoto cameras because for the most part they're useless. 2.5x or 3x is way more useful in terms of usable photos. It seems like they're putting in 2x telephoto cameras just to be able to say that it has a telephoto zoom camera when in fact they're really worthless. It is the same thing with 8MP ultra wide cameras.

Here Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 has lower batterylife then Tensor G4. And fanboys were compaling in the Pixels review.

14 Civi has worse cameras than Edge 50 Ultra and Realme GT6. It is not that great.

Xiaomi 11 Lite was and is still brilliant (now with Android 14 and Hyper OS). Next year Xiaomi 12 Lite was even better with a much better main camera and a faster 67W charger, a year after that came Xiaomi 13 Lite which looked really nice and had this same pill shaped front camera. Therefore this particular CIVI should be coming globally as Xiaomi 14 Lite. Lite models are superb phones, lightweight and feels great in the hand, great cameras, screens etc.

And that is only the case because the glass on this is matte, of course. If it was a good-old glossy glass back, it would be even grippier than any other back material, of course

My xiaomi 12 pro charging speed has been decreased. It used to take 20-25mins to full charge my phone but now it is taking 45mins or more. Do remember Xiaomi 12 Pro has a 120W charging.
