20 August 2008
The LG KF700 (codenamed Virgo) is among the latest LG full touch handsets. Besides being one of the most affordable one among those, it stands out with multiple control-and-navigation methods. LG KF700 puts together...

well... i have an experience with battery consume... i use the factory setting brightness(100%), listen not more than 1hour mp3, and receive 15 minutes of phone calls, and it last for 20hour standby only!
Maybe that's the only disadvantages of this phone.
But the advantages is more than my expectation, name it; 3,5G HSDPA, with 3' touchscreen, 3mp camera-autofocus-flash, and REAL keyborard for sms/writing. It's really value-for money specification phone.
I love the web browser, i can use it landscape, and touch-scroll to navigate the screen. My friend really jealous with this feature, that's why LG market tagline is 'a new way to make a friend jealous'...

I bought a KF 700 about one month ago.

The monitor is extremely power demanding. I used the factory setting and talked a few calls, took a few photos with flash and listened about 1 hr mp3, it lasted less than one day and needed recharging!

Secondly, it is easy to accidentally touch the screen when using a certain function. This will interrupt the function in use and change to other undesired function.

Moreover, the monitor becomes dim very soon so as to save power. This means that one needs to touch it again and again from time to time in order to makes the monitor visible if he wants to continue to use it.

The photos’ quality (3.2 M) is much worse than the ones taken using SE K750i which the camera’s pixels is 2M only! I missed my K750i very much. L

Worst of all, it has only one short cut key(unless I don't know the others, if any). This makes using functions (e.g. alarm/calendar) of the phone very troublesome and time consuming.

I regret very much to have bought KF 700. I shall sell it soon and will not buy LG phones in the near future.

There are also some advantages which I forgot to mention, viz the radiation (Specific Absorption Rate) of KF 700 is very low, just only 0.36. This is very good when compared with, say, SE G900 which is as high as 1.47. Moreover, the response of the screen is very good.

Good phone for the money only £99 in Uk on o2. Does what it's supposed to do well. But not a super high end phone. Good features when compared to other phones at the same price.

Anonymous, 21 Aug 2008no way is this an iphone killer. I can't believe I'm saying... moreThis phone was not bild to be an iphone killer the viewty or the ks20 are the iphone's headhaches, this one is for the medium segment, and believe me, if it really reatils for 230 euros I'll be on the line to get one, I don't like the iphone and I don't like only touch screen solutions, I want a real keyboard to write sms! I already have wifi on my p990 and I just don't use it, the same goes with gps, so I don't care, I prefere to pay less because I will not miss gps and wifi, and the best is that it comes with scroll wheel, I'm allready use to that from the p990 and the m600. Can't wait to put my hands on one of these

no way is this an iphone killer. I can't believe I'm saying this because I don't like the iphone at all, but people want things like gps, a good camera, or wifi these days in phones like this...even for a low-ish price...

definitely an iphone killer, but it lacks wifi, but it doesnt matter, browsing internet from phone or PDA is so slow because of it's shorter antenna..i prefer using my laptop for browsing to these..great job LG!

This phone is as beautiful as Samsung F700. If it is also as good as Samsung F700, congratulations LG.
