Anonymous, 16 Nov 2024X6 Pro with Dimensity 8300U outlives this one. kek.X6 pro has the better chipset, NOT the better overall package. I had them both for a week of day-to day use. ?The Poco had to go back.

Anonymous, 15 Nov 2024All Motorola phones this year has been e waste. The Motorola G34/G45 (they are essentially the same device) is one of the best value for money devices to have come out in the past year. Especially so for the EU/Aus versions with e-sim support (which is unheard of in this price bracket). They are great for first time smartphone buyers, or anyone looking for a good 5G device on a tight budget.
The Edge 50 Fusion and Ultra are fantastic value as well. The Edge 50 Pro is unbeatable value for money in most Asian markets (where it is priced at the level of or even lower than the Galaxy A35).
The Motorola G75 - at least one paper - also seems to be of great value for its price (currently around Euro 300 in many EU nations). But more reviews need to come in for that one.
However, the Edge 50 has glaring issues. That is without a doubt. It is probably better to save up some extra and go for the 50 Pro instead, if you absolutely want a Motorola with features such as super fast charging, wireless charging, and a telephoto camera.

igor31, 15 Nov 2024its still a 5000mah battery so I dont see why it woudnt las... moreDude of course it's a typo. You think I'm stupid enough to not realize that? 🤦 And as you can clearly see here, even a 5000mAh battery can deliver very poor battery life. Just look at the results here, they're some of the worst ever in a 5000mAh unit

I have been using it since it's launch in India. Great phone for regular using. Vegan leather actually helps for a good grip in active work environment. The lower edge of the camera island at the back should have been little extended downwards so that the edge of cameras don't touch the surface while it is out on a flat hard surface, when used without a back cover. The edge of the camera is getting scratches because of this short coming

IMO, the new location GSMA is using for photo samples is so much worse than the old one - The old site had a balcony to test out the camera's ability to withstand moire and generally a longer distance between the building and the shooter across the samples (meaning we could get the depth of field out of the equation when details appear soft or blurry), and the Park Hotel night shot was a great way to check how well cameras render intricate details while preserving natural details. It's one of the most prominent reasons why GSMA's camera samples were so valuable, they have been consistent across all phones they reviewed, therefore a great way to benchmark their performance.
In comparison, the brick walls and smooth glass windows of the new site don't do any favour when it comes to inspecting how naturally each phone renders textures. It doesn't seem to have any challenging backlit scenes too, like, any phone that doesn't intentionally try to destroy every single photo with extremely aggressive oversharpening and noise reduction would perform fine in these scenarios.
