Look at GSMArena's Oneplus 12 benchmarks then look at Phonebuff's speed tests. The Oneplus 12 was essentially on par with the S24 Ultra/iPhone 15 Pro Max on everything except for the launching of that first person shooter game. Yet the benchmarks make it seem that the OP 12 is as slow as the SD 8 Gen 2.

    Also, this is a gaming phone and this destroys every mainstream gaming benchmark out there. So this phone is doing its job.

    Don't trust benchmarks blindly. But you won't listen, you just want to reaffirm your beliefs most likely. Confirmation bias ahh guy

This means it will struggle in a lot of situations for daily use. Even the hardest gamers out there dont buy this phone just STRICTLY for gaming. This is a massive flaw that cant be ignored.

                  The speakers frequency response line for the Red Magic 10 Pro is missing at the end of the speakers section (third page) at the device comparison section. Would appreciate it this gets fixed thanks

                    Meanwhile, iphone users on youtube who actually play games compared to most commenters here, managed to throttle their more expensive phones in a matter of minutes. They then proceed to use a cooler so the game returns to normal performance.

                                sweet.jammy, 04 Dec 2024On screen video playback time has reduced by lot for this p... moreNot really .this phone have 144 refresh rate screen...naturally it will be more taxing on GPU..furthermore it has slightly higher resolution of 1,216 x 2,688px than its predecessor...so stressed GPU again.. you can set it to 60 refresh rate but no fluidity a waste of feature..a gaming phone but no option to change default screen resolution to fhd or even hd for better performance in gaming..a wanted opportunity.. use pixels app to change resolution but result will vary..for example underdisplay fingerprint won't work in some phonesome ui element peculiarity...but a good tradeoff nonetheless

                                  The only thing that prevents me from getting more red magic phones these days is the poor signal in my area. I wish it supported all the LTE and 5G bands that the Samsung and Oneplus phones support.

Many games aren't updated/supported to have 12... moreI'm a PC Gamer too, but really appreciates the mobile gaming is really evolving fast. Android now has Winlator which even currently as beta can play most x86/x64 PC games at 30-70fps in the SD8Gen3. What more could it be with the SD8Elite which has base full Linux support, which makes emulating Windows games even much easier and more optimized.

                                      Most AAA games are starting to come to mobile too (most are FPS games and openworld ones). Am highly anticipating Palworld :D.

                                        1 OS updates but, they're providing 2-3 years of security patches and at least 2-3 RedMagic OS Skin version upgrades for the price that can be considered one of the cheapest SD8Elite for all the advanced technologies it packs too. Take note of that.
