          Redmi Note 14 5G series, Redmi Buds 6, and Xiaomi Sound Outdoor Speaker will go on sale in India for the first time today. All new products were launched in the country earlier this week. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 5G feature 6.67-inch OLED displays and have a 50-megapixel primary camera. Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G mobile was launched on 26th September 2024. The phone comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate 6.67-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels (FHD+).

            It's a bummer they went for 8MP only with the Ultra-Wide. Most people use the UW rather than the telephoto. It's nice to have a physical lens for zooming but at the expense of having a decent UW?! No bueno.

                  I don't understand why GSMArena never bring this argument when they review every single Samsung devices. Spotify, Netflix, Samsung Global Goals, and Microsoft apps like OneDrive and Office are literally pre-installed on every single Samsung devices, even the S and Z series.

                          Really tempted to stretch my budget looking at the current market prices and offerings, but if I don't, I wonder how this compares with the Realme 13 Pro+. The telephoto sensor seems to be much smaller on this one despite the minor upgrades just about everywhere else

                            hot damn, props to the GSMArena team for keeping it real with this phone. laying down the gauntlet, no holds barred. i hate when they call the camera experience "dependable" at the end of a review after mentioning like a dozen faults with it in the camera section proper. let's keep this honesty going!

                            not much to say about the phone itself. it looks pretty, the battery life is great (54 min for a full charge is not bad at all if it lasts 2+ days) and it's cool that decent quality telephotos trickled down to this price point, but like everything else Xiaomi has done for the last couple years... there's just better options out there.

At least they sell batteries for their phones and their build quality is good, unlike two Poco smartphones with detached displays due to weak glue that I have.

                                P.S. Xiaomi doesn't cut corners by removing microSD and 3.5mm. It doesn't cost them anything. It's a way to increase sales of their own headphones and phones with more memory.

                                    And the worst thing you could do is actually buy a Samsung phone. They are some of the worst out there that you can buy. Xiaomi is still the best of the bunch hands down even without audio jack or micro sd.

                                        Curved screen, optical under-display scanner, no microSD, no 3.5mm. Xiaomi has collected the worst decisions of phone manufacturers to get a few more bucks out of your pocket. For me, the Galaxy A55 for 300 euros looks like the best deal.
