despite they have greatest chipsets they have tons features disabled and turned off!
Samsung google is allowed to have all enabled ! even poor iphone 16 max has slow wifi.. as they are too stubborn..
There are many china phones has wifi 7 for receiving from router .. BUT have no wifi 6e or wifi 7 from hotspot mode .. But u clearly don't follow this logic...

So to me it seems that:

          1. SD Elite really delivers what has been promised. Ofc depending on cooling you might get some diff in performance, so make sure you check benchmarks exactly of the phone, you are interested in.

          2. Power efficiency seems ok, but power consumption is also increased in comparison to SD 8.3. so bigger battery that old Gen is recommended.

          3. Prices are, as expected, quite high so it seems all vendors try to use the hype, delivering something or not..for that money one could get a laptop with Nvidia graphics perhaps...

It would be interesting to see the price drop of SD 8.3 devices in 2025 ....

            No infrared no buy

[deleted post]I'm not a fan of arguments that head nowhere, and that's what you're trying to get to.
You see, yes, WiFi 7 DOES bring some noticeable performance improvement, but in day to day life, it is hardly noticeable. It's not really a major deciding factor to get a smartphone in 2024.
Although, special use cases do require such speeds (WiFi 7 has a speed of 46Gbps, theoretically), it's hardly noticeable in day to day life.

Grow up, and focus on other things that make this phone good, even though it's not that big of an upgrade from the previous gen.

I'm disappointed with this phones camera performance.
The Oppo Find X8 has a smaller size main cam, but yet produces sharper and more detailed shots with the main cam, ultra wide, and telephoto.
Overall, I'd pick the Find X8 anyday anytime. It's just better overall.

You're not gonna use WiFi 7 for anything. It's just marketing, lil bro.

The max CPU clock is 3.80 GHz. The 8 Elite is not functioning at its full potential on this phone!

U so naive that youngs thinks about this wifi specs?? man I am 42 u silly and if u too old you actually should be worried about this.. Small thing ?? Are u sure???
It is NEVER down to internet provider ! BUT network speed ! u will always be CAPPED even lower for example if u have 100mbps from internet provider on your poor 2,4Ghz will go half so u will get 50 if u send it from mobile to laptop .. if u equip with wifi 6 or 6e or 7 u will get full potential throughput for example from mobile to laptop over hotspot..
Always u need to top up to latest devices connection so u will use full potential of your internet provider... Wifi 5 is now poor ... only wifi6e and 7 is good as they run on 6ghz..
So if these are small things why u don't tell manufacturers why they are bothering with wifi 6e or wifi 7 ?? 🤷‍♂️

6000 mah battery, new chip and a new display yet they still couldn't get the gaming numbers higher than the Oneplus 12R, which is using an 8 gen 2.... Video streaming number is exceptional and best in class, even better than the iPhone 16 PM (and that's a huge deal!!!) but man the web browsing and gaming numbers are depressing. Every phone has something better in exchange for something worse. For gamers the IQOO 13 reigns supreme due to price to performance ratio and for a cameraphone/true flagship the X200 Pro has the best overall balance. The Oneplus 13 is just weird.

Tech Droider on YT did a test and this seems to be better than the 16 Pro Max. This phone seems to be on par in Techmo's test as well. Guess GSMArena's active test somehow messes up Oneplus's algorithms?

Well at least the cameras are really good and seem to be nice step up from last year, more mature processing perhaps. Master Mode yields amazing results as well, Through Jermaine's Lens had an excellent vid. And the speakers are a surprisingly nice improvement as well, dynamics are trashy but it's not like others are winning any awards, the FR is the one that improved the most.

Overall really disappointed considering the 100 dollar price increase. 0 Camera improvements, battery improvement and stuff are nice but why should the price increase 100 dollars for em all? If a phone improves the price should remain constant, that signifies improvements in value. The Oneplus 12 was exceptional last year, but at 900 dollars for a measly 256 GB phone, I don't really see the point, when the X200 Pro is basically only 200 dollars more expensive for a 512 GB version. Better to pony up for that phone or to just get an IQOO 13 if you want only a performance centric phone. Kinda sad and disappointed. The Oneplus 13 should've costed 900 bucks for a 512 GB version or at best 950 bucks.

Unless the next gen brings huge camera changes, the oneplus flagships would just get more obscure and hard to justify.

The indian price is what i wished the global pricing was like, but well when Google gets praised for the Pixel 9 Pro XL, I guess the Oneplus 13 should be put on a pedestal for its pricing.

Your ISP can't even give you speed enough to saturate WiFi 6, not to even mention 6E, then WiFi 7.
