The old generation xiaomi phones never had any battery issues because they all use MIUI software which is clean and fast compared to the bloated HyperOS.
Just delete HyperOS and flash the old MIUI ROM and enjoy blazing fast MIUI ROM and be happy :D

      A cheap Xiaomi is really asking for trouble. Save you money and buy a decent phone.

        They downgraded the charging speed from it's predecessor but still carried over the same mediocre battery endurance from the poco x6👎👎.
        At least the display is far better than anything else in this price category

          Worse 2x than the X6 is damning

It's not the best screen in terms of colours and color shift but it's probably the most efficient one out there. It's still behind some other phones in some of the battery rankings (e.g. the Realme gt7 pro which seems to be the flagship with best battery life and Nubia z70 ultra in most rankings) but is ahead of most and especially ahead of others with a 2k screen (like Oneplus 13 and Iqoo 13). In most of the Chinese rankings I think it is at the top of battery life for the flagships with 2k screens. I doubt if the 15pro will be launched globally but I think there is a good chance the Xiaomi 15 ultra will use the same screen and that will definitely launch globally.

                  indlvarn, 16 hours agoWhat's up with Xiaomi's and bad battery times? If... moreI think the Xiaomi 15 series will be ok based on Chinese reviews. The Xiaomi 15 pro has good battery life as it's using one of the most power efficient screens. The Xiaomi 15 is also ok for battery life although it's not as good as the 15 pro (I know the 15 pro has a bigger battery but it also has a bigger screen and a 2k screen so I was expecting the Xiaomi 15 to be close to it in battery life but it seems to be a good bit behind). My theory is that the cheap oled screens they are using in the budget and midrange phones are very power inefficient and that is one of reasons at least. These screens are very cheap and while the quality of the screens isn't bad to look it there is a big difference in power efficiency compared to much more expensive screens. Of course that's not the only factor but I guess that's a contributing factor. The Xiaomi 14 has pretty good battery life for the battery size on Gsmarena's test so I'd expect the Xiaomi 15 to be a good bit better (probably over the 15 hour mark and similar to the Oneplus 13 as it seems to have very similar battery life to the Oneplus 13 in Chinese battery drain tests).

                        vik457, 22 hours agoSmartzone.de already did a test of poco x7 pro and they wil... moreI also got ui performance and loading time improvements on 2.0.2.0 vnaeuxm, no new bugs, 1440p mode decent enough, could be a little better.

                          A 5,110mAh battery and only 9.5 hours of browsing? The Moto Edge 50 Neo has a 4,310mAh battery and the same Dimensity 7300 chipset (though not the "Ultra" that the X7 has) and it obtained 12.5 hours of browsing in its review.

                          HyperOS has some serious issues.

                            Jack , 19 hours agoProfessional music producer buying a cheap phone 🤣🤣No joke, check meizu..7? Idk exact model, it is very old, has a small lcd screen on the back for clock and notifications.. that cheap thing has Cirrus Logic dac that will blow you away!! No joke

There are plenty of usb/usbc hifi dacs from 50 to 500€ out there for you.. common, if you connect something like shure 1840 to a mobile phone with internal dac...you need ear check ;) unless ofc the mobile phone is one of those hidden gems with Cirrus Logic ,ess or wolfson dacs ;) then pls share the model with us ;)

It's not a chipset problem, it's Xiaomi's incompetent software development. If X7 Pro with hyper os 2 (which everyone claims it's buggy mess even on flagships) is the same, I'll blacklist that cheating company

                                        PureOS, 22 hours agoBad software optimisation.The problem is HyperOS is just clean MIUI stock software with a whole bunch of HyperOS AI crap on top. That's why it's so slow and sluggish.
                                        They should seriously go back to MIUI vanilla that was blazing fast. Boot time less than 1 minute
