        xcv, 10 hours agoThe CPU stress test done by gsmarena is irrelevant as it on... moreok hold on .....i saw the test made by notebook but all the phones reach 44 to even 47 C doesnt matter if its X8 pro or x200 pro or xiaomi 15 pro or oneplus 13
        only honor stops after reaching that temp which only happens in GPU stress tests after 2 hours of testing while CPU (which you say its irrelevant) is completly stable
        so its not stopping because it overheats but its either UI restriction for safety or a bug which could get fixed(lets not forget honor has a dedicated chip for its battery TEMP and charging mangement since Si/C batterys are way more prone to damage duo to heat and you can obviosly see its effect on battery life since it keeps up with 6000mAh batterys while being 12% smaller)
        i still dont know what your comparing this phone to because those temps are normal......if you dont like the safety protocols under those temps thats another problem

            Color science is below average, telephoto uses crop on already small sensor, EU got smaller battery, optics aren't great, only sharp in center. This phone is disappointment.

              Better change your rating sistem to 4 - 5, because it seems all phones are now 4.0 and more...LOL

                I need new phone, 14 hours agoyou just made those up.......its litrally most stable flags... moreThe CPU stress test done by gsmarena is irrelevant as it only stresses CPU, not SoC.

                The whole phone temperature under stress is over 40C (over 42C on the front) up to 46C. And that's in indoor controlled enviroment. I can't imagine what is going to happen in the summer in the outside ☠️.

                Wild Life Stress Test Stability is at measly 57.6%.
                Steel Nomad Light Stress Test Stability is at 68.4%.

                But, there is more - both gsmarena and notebookcheck reported that Magic7 Pro can't even pass 3DMark stress tests because phone so much 🔥 and app crashes.

                P. S.
                Sure, there are even worse models like Vivo X200 Pro, but even it didn't crash - Magic7 Pro results are bad and there is no around that.

                        Image quality isn't wowing me although overall a good phone. Weird how 6x zoom looks better than 3x

                          It still has some caveats that doesn't make it the best flagship of the year. That doesn't change the fact it is an excellent phone. I won't get one since my Magic 6 Pro is so perfect for me that upgrading isn't worth. At least here in Latin America we will get the charger and the full battery capacity. I will never understand that stupid regional fragmentation.

                            I was calling out the Samsung S Series and Apple iPhone for having minor/minimal hardware updates compared to their immediate predecessors; It appears as though most flagships this year are relying on AI as the reason to get them this year.

                            Honor offering an early bird discount at £900 and they were throwing in the charger.

                            It'll be interesting to see if the S25U has any real hardware updates bar the Snapdragon Elite for Samsung

                              Hello! you really need to change the test for video quality.
                              You have to show your viewers the video quality and STABILITY on all cameras.
                              You say its good, but on youtube on other reviewers, the OIS in low light is very poor!

Good luck selling to anybody. ... moreyou just made those up.......its litrally most stable flagship this year and about the price you know whats funny? its 1100 USD(1000 EUR) in saudi while giving away a 250 USD honor watch......while having charger and 5850 mAh battery........EU import tax and regulations are bad........go blame your rulers
                                and what do you mean bad telephoto? it loses only to x200 pro? that has a camera bump bigger than mount everest?

                                  They really fumbled the zoom sensor processing and downright lied about it being 3x. Hopefully the RSR makes up for this.

                                    Are there any differences regarding the 4G/5G bands been the Chinese and the European version?
                                    People from EU may be interested in buying the Chinese version for the better battery.

                                    Honestly I'm disappointed by the decision to downgrade the battery for the European market, especially considering the very high price of this device.

                                        I bought Honor Magic 6 Pro for my wife in a previous year for 1100 euro.
                                        It's successor Magic 7 Pro has a reduced battery capacity and the same main camera sensor with HUGE problems in color rendering/color temperature and crazy AI photo "enhancements".
                                        Rumors said it will have color sensor, I see a "color spectrum sensor" in the specs, but it is not mentioned in the review. So I suppose there is not changes. Honor Magic 6 Pro do 50% photos with a washed colors or a far missed colors/color temperature. AI works poorly, has no off button (AI scene detection is off since second day of purchase, of course), so you may see deep darkened hard wrinkles on faces, even children with pretty young faces may looks like a zombies. You cannot see all these problems in this review, because reviews on this site has strict set of simple scenes.
                                        Also the main camera has an awkward focal length 24mm with massive barrel distortion.
                                        I see no fixes, only a battery downgrade. Shame.
