Xiaomi has become one of the worst manufacturers when it comes to the battery life of their handsets. They're supposed to be improving with newly implemented tech like SiC tech on battery packs which means that their software optimizations with HyperOS is poor.

ashrobb, 21 Jan 2025You have to go this low to find an old fashioned Redmi Note... moreMany of the "better" chipsets are now just 5G.
In other words, just go for the Poco X7.

The 45W AC adapter is nowhere to be found, even on the Xiaomi website. We can only find the 67W and the 120W. I had to take the 67W for my father's device (European Redmi Note 14 5G) I guess it's compatible with his device.
Maybe in the next few months Xiamo will make the 45W available... or not.

ashrobb, 21 Jan 2025You have to go this low to find an old fashioned Redmi Note... moreI bought a Note 13 Pro 4G last year and I'm glad to not have FOMO with the 14 Pro 4G. The ISP on the 13 is fast enough that the shot to shot time is bearable. Could you comment on any improvement with the 14? I had a Xiaomi Mi Note 10 before this and I highly dislike the curved screen and will be skipping the Note Pro 14 because of it.
Still waiting on the vanilla Note 14 review as that seems be hit a sweet spot if the camera is competent.

You have to go this low to find an old fashioned Redmi Note Pro with both audio jack and microSD slot. Had they used a better processor, then it would have been a nice phone.. oh well.
