It may not be up to the mark, but I like that design, I really hope those chinese companies with those ring camera would take a note of this. Very good improvement from those smaller zenfones.

As I owned Zenfone 10 before what I liked with those was the headphone jack with dirac equalizer setup, nice hand feel and amazing stabilization even though I hated those camera rings of Zenfone 10 and the photo quality was really bad for a flagship

        Just my opinion, 06 Feb 2025They should have called it the Zenfone 12 'MehI am surprised that gsmarena even rate it this high, this phone is a pure joke to be referred to as a flagship 😂

          So, Asus abandoned the small phone community, just to release some mediocre ultras that nobody will buy. In a year or so, they'll go the way of LG.

            As long as the vast majority of people don't care about those features, companies will never bring them back.

            Sorry pal, that's the reality of the world we live in and you can't change it no matter how much you wanna complain. You either let go and fit in with the rest, or vote with your wallet and just buy Sony or HTC phones.

              For 1100€, you DON'T GET more than one 50MP sensor, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a QHD display, autofocus on the UW, no 4K on the selfie cam... This phone is not worth the asking price.

                      Mostly garbage. The Selfie camera is way too narrow, and there's no SD slot.

                        Why is the camera quality not mentioned in the final verdict?

                          So, asus advertising charging speed it cannot reach just like chinese brands do?

                            Who is this phone for?
                            😂😂 At this price almost anything else is better value.
                            €/$/£50 more and you can get the Samsung and Apple flagships.
                            Or better still save money buy going for the Pixel 9ProXL or Vivo X200Pro both which offer much better features and cameras.
                            Heck even midrrange options from Xiaomi, Samsung and Vivo represent better value for half the price.

                              Asus should have copied the leaked iPhone 17 concept camera design. (3 top camera lenses)

                              What a missed opportunity.

                                Wow, Asus never had great cameras, but this is truly embarrassing. The quality of photos are like from 200-300$ phone and no 4K telephoto footage is joke for a flagship.

                                  It feels like a downgrade from my older phone too, when gaming or watching videos the battery is amazing, and calls are fineish too.

                                  But when browsing, wifi or mobile data it goes quicker than I assume it should, it is battery efficient in super heavy tasks but not the daily stuff most people do with their phones.

                                    And yet, at 1100 euro thwy give you 2 OS and 5 years of security patches, even Sony gives 3 OS updates and they are considered the worst.

                                      One of the rare phones literally no one should buy. Only difference is that this is €1000.
