Avoid this complete POS phone. The advertised battery life doesn't hold up IRL at all. Worse than my 5 year old burner phone. And yes, it is the garbage Xiaomi HyperOS that's causing it.

People keep rambling about those updates, yet i find myself updating the phone itself every year or so because i get bored of it. The avarage user keeps them for 2-3 years at most too. Updates will never factor into my decision.

Watched few videos in YouTube and the camera of Xiaomi 15 is bad, shift the colors and doesn't have good details. Samsung S25 may be behind in hardware department but still I think the camera is better on the Samsung. I had chinese phones only but the next one will be S25. I think people care about the numbers but not the real life capabilities.

"The Xiaomi 15 has a four-year major OS update and six-year security update promise. This is a solid support window and much better than what your typical Redmi offers (2-3 Android updates and 3-4 years of security patches on average"..
No not really, considering the major competition offers 6-7 years, and the Xiaomi 15 is a flagship..

Sadly Xiaomi is going down the path of Samsung recently.
The path of losers.

The introducing price is sub 900 €, I can even find it with promo code at 800 € which seems like a fair deal and with time it has a tendency to get even lower. Depending also in what part of the world you're located, taxes, import fees, warranty etc.

EU prices are way to high and not worth it. Bought mine including Buds 5 Pro for 900 Euro in HK.... gg no re EU

We only buy Chinese when it's cheap. Xiaomi now with these exaggerated prices think high of themselves as if they were sony or Samsung.
Also judging by the several grammar and typing errors in the review, it's quite obvious that GSMARENA team couldn't bear writing about and reviewing such a bad device, so they just wanted to get over with it. They were probably over excited to start reviewing the galaxy a56 a36. These are good phones.

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2025Is selfie better than Mi14? How about the ulttrawide camera... moreThe selfie cam is pretty good, it was already good on the 14. Not if you check at 100%, it is 32mpx, but resized the pics are nice. The ultrawide is really so-so, as soon as the light goes a bit down, it is getting worst and worst. You can still use the pro mode and create your own profile with some settings to make it a bit better (more noise but a bit more details). I didn't have any fogging issue so far. Use it for 4 months (Chinese version).
