You’ll have to go back and point out exactly where I have demanded others to agree. You’ll won’t be able to so stop wasting time with stupid comments.

I have my opinion on this device and I ain’t changing it to appease you, so agree or don’t, I really do not give a flying F.

1989, 15 Mar 2025No?? You said that arm macs have ram embedded within cpu.huh, Apple Silicon SoC is literally just everything combined (CPU, GPU, etc.). I was thinking of how Intel packaged their Lunar Lake CPUs (CPU contains SoC instead) when I talked about the RAM being separated in the SoC. Sorry!

Who would win a speed test: the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate (€3,499) or the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G (€479)? It honestly feels wrong to type that, but it wouldn't be a huge difference. I would argue that the A56 would do better.

[deleted post]Careful, I’ve learned first hand saying anything that isn’t instantly perceived as total devotion to Huawei and its products round these parts can open a right can of worms 🤷‍♂️

The RAM on those Apple Silicon chips are integrated into the chips themselves, and Apple put that RAM right next to the "core part" of those chips (a.k.a the SoC).

Anonymous, 13 Mar 2025It's a laptop worth $2000 at best (apple loves making ... more"destroy" it in what? if it's gaming... you don't buy a Mac for gaming.
Anyway, there's a reason why professionals still buy Macs to use for rendering, modelling, and so on. Those 4000 USD MacBooks are mostly made for those people who earns a lot of money and use their computers as a way to earn that much money anyway. And you forget that Adobe stuff are *really* optimized to work well with Apple Silicon, too.

And yes, the Huawei phone is expensive for a good reason. Also, yes, Apple is bloody greedy. That doesn't mean *all* of their stuff is suddenly awful, though.

Look, if you are invested in this company the you do you.

Shame about the chipset is really holding it back.

I don't know if you can speak about innovation. Thin, thinner, thinnest isn't immediately something I would call innovation. Also, I'm not convinced that a plastic oled screen that is exposed as outer display with an exposed side as well is durable. It should use foil-able glass oled instead. For the rest I'm also thinking at the durability of all the contacts that have to pass the hinges, in this case ones more than other classical foil-able devices who are also thicker and have in theory more space to operate slightly more freely and thus maybe also more durably in the long run. I do see some people will have use of such a form factor but to me it's still more of a (very expensive) gimmick.

Needs a stylus! Such a waste of that big unfolded screen if you cannot draw on it using Sketchbook Pro etc. Also needs Sharp3D CAD, then it can replace my iPad mini 7th gen.
