I might be an outlier but coming from the Pixel line, I love my 3a. It's so refreshing from the vanilla Android OS experience.

I got this phone for a steal price from Saudia Arabia for around 270$ for 128/8 version, coming from Poco X7 Pro, the phone is very nice by all means, Camera is very good, the software is smooth, display is vibrant, no overheating at all, charging is fast, no complaints so far, am not a heavy gamer so I had to sacrifice the Poco performance due to the lack of good camera setup, am so happy with this purchase, wish if they only supported hi-res audio

      Hardware limitation!

Wow based on the number of comments, nobody cares about this phone at all!

I love how it uses the pixel visor in a new design. Sadly the phones back transparency is still all fake. Guess it would sell much better if it was truly transparent.

They may improve battery in future updates.

Anonymous, 24 Mar 2025Compare the nothing phones to the Poco x7 pro. Less storage... moreThey compare it because arguably in the same price range (at least in Europe), in soc X7 Pro is superior. But camera, software (no ads, unlike poco/redmi) I think Nothing is superior.

x7 pro unless you want fancy lights on your phone and hate gaming.

No charger, no protecting cover. Befitting its name!

Great review and a cracking device. Love the blue. I’ve traded my 2a in and will be getting the std 3a in blue. I might wait for the upcoming 3 but I just love getting a great midrange device that looks great, is different and quirky and is great value for money. I don’t game on mobile and nothing OS rocks like old school oxygen OS used to in the dim and distant past. Keep going Carl and team you’re making waves! 👏

Thank you for the review. I note that this costs 359€ in my country, not 379€ like written.

Wish you would have posted pictures next to the former 2a like you do on other review. To see the difference in screen size and bezels.

PureOS, 25 Mar 2025Poco X7 pro eats this for dinner Not necessarily. Raw hardware specifications are NOT everything in a phone. There are other factors such as Software Quality, hardware reliablity in 3-5 years etc. You may prefer the Poco X7 pro, which is fine for your needs. Don't ever assume that Poco X7 pro is suitable for EVERYONE who is looking to buy a phone in that price range. Choice is always good.

You can speak for yourselves, but you should NOT assume that you know what features are valued by everyone else in this planet/universe. I value "software quality" and will consider this phone for my next purchase. But phones from Xioami brand would NEVER be in my shortlist, unless there is a drastic improvement in the quality of software provided by Xiaomi.

RantProMax, 25 Mar 2025Why is the battery life lower than the 2a despite it being ... moreit could be because of lack of optimization. new soc new device so many software updates will come along to optimize the battery. it will get better i am pretty sure of it. you should wait few months and see if they have improved battery with updates if you are so concerned about the battery life

Why is the battery life lower than the 2a despite it being equipped with the same mah battery and supposedly efficient chip? It makes no sense. The web browsing life especially is insanely low! Or is it actually a lower rated battery made to look like a higher mah one?
