RedMagic, nubia and ZTE devices all use custom OLED panels from BOE which shows superior durability than Samsung's based on my experience with own RedMagic devices (7Pro,8SPro, and my now 10Pro).
Even my former Poco F3, F4GT had greenline issues before lol

Anonymous, 05 May 2025Indeed bro.Agree on this too. They're slowly improving now on software updates starting with the RedMagic series, hope it continuous through fast. The UDC in both 10Pro and 10Air showed excellent progress from the ones used in their 7 Series way back 2022, so we may expect it to be perfect around a 2-3 more iterations.

The chinese must really want more market share there so they might have used better quality temperature resistant oleds specially for india.

Atleast that's where the majority of green line issues seem to come from. I guess they use inferior panels there to lower the prices or the weather and temperature is an issue.

Shameful 6,000mAh battery on a slim 7.85mm device? Meanwhile the ROG Phone 9 can only put 5,800mAh on such thick device lol

Good specs but the update support remains questionable. And the 13h mark for 6000mah is shameful.

Now only if they can assume the software to be efficient, they could get absolutely insane battery life.

BenjaEBC, 23 Apr 2025Why is everyone always so mad in the comments :(Most of them are Asus ROG fans probably. lol Well, RedMagic is now the number 1 gaming smartphone brand as per ZTE during MWC per sales volume globally so not a problem.
So they're now giving the RM10Air 3 years of software updates, here's hoping also that in the coming years, it will extend to 5 years and it will now be a super deadly brand. (though its already a killer brand at the moment for price to performance ratio)

This is a dream phone for those who can't afford the Pro RedMagic models. Here in Asia it's just $499, and a very good price for a water resistant-clean styled RedMagic device.
This is the successor to their old 6R model, slim and elegant, but this time, they did it right with a large 6,000mah battery, Liquid metal cooling and even included most hardware from the 10Pro which includes their Redcore R3 fellas.
Its the budget line of RedMagic gaming phones tailored for gamers and those who wants to use a redmagic as more of a daily driver now with even better cameras. Isn't this the comments we've been reading on the Pro models?
Those who complain are free to buy the Pro models instead. This is for us budget oriented gamers. You won't find a complex Ice-X liked cooling on other flagships without active cooling. Checkout YT reviews of 10Air from RetroTechDad, TechTablets and FlossyCarter and see how well it performs even without the active fan.

I like how they pushed this out before Samsung and Apple. Who started this trend?
