MrBean, 16 May 2025How is the camera compared to the Xiaomi 14T?I haven't seen any direct comparison, but the 14T pro does have larger sensors and overall better camera hardware.
On YouTube, a guy (Steven Divish) tested the 14T pro camera and demonstrated surprisingly great photos with it.
Moreover, the 14T pro can be had for 500 Euro, which is 100 less than what Lenovo is asking for this one.

One obvious alternative would have been the Xiaomi 14T pro. On Amazon, it is being sold for 500 EUR, at 512 GB storage. It certainly has the more competent camera and arguably the better SoC (Dimensity 9300+).

Nice phone at 400. Absolutely diabolical at 600, with all the drawbacks and pretty poor performance. I can get a Poco F7 Ultra for 600 that destroys this. Galaxy s25 is the same price. A refurb s24 Ultra is the same price.

It seems to have unusually good cameras for a Motorola, which is nice. My Edge 50 Neo takes terrible photos. I'd never buy a phone with a curbed display though.

          Rounded screen? Thank you, no.
Motorola should get rid of them

            Zero surprise

Active Score with disappointing battery results and I'm not even surprised. It's weird how Motorola phones with bigger batteries struggles to have good energy efficiency, despite the massive battery size and new Si/C tech.

Where I'm from, for a limited time you get gifts your Edge 60 Pro like the Moto Buds+, Moto Tag and the 125 Watt Moto Charger if you register your purchase with Lenovo. That's a nice value proposition if you can find a use for those things. All this for the msrp of 600 €.

Also I was expecting a better battery life here. Could it be a defect with this unit?

I hate that they downgraded the frame to plastic.

Motorola should keep mediatek just for G phones.
                          All edge should be Qualcomm.

I don't care about useless benchmarks, the focus of M.
It is annoying to see my phone ( with mediatek) often loses connection to 5GHz wifi ( what forces me use the 2.4GHz) while my old phone ( with qualcomm soc) does not have this issue. The one with qualcomm also always shows stronger wifi signal level..

These Dimensity 8xxx are not any better than qualcomm 7 series. Just score higher on benchmarks.

Lets hope 60 Neo has 7sg3 or 7g4, while 60 Ultra with 8sg4 or 8 Elite.

Personally, I don't like the sharp curves of the Edge 60 screen. It produces unwanted reflections that affect vision. I had the Edge 60 Fusion in my hands, and it was obvious.

Something's off with that Antutu score. I ran a test in a store and got 1.4 million.

How is the camera compared to the Xiaomi 14T?

                                  ddr4x ram?

The selfie losing its autofocus is a real bummer, as is the battery life considering the large battery capacity (even if some others now beat it with even larger ones) and the frame being downgraded from aluminium to plastic (though this is just a minor gripe).

The lack of autofocus on the selfie is definitely my biggest problem with the phone though, considering its price. Anything above £400/$400 needs to have autofocus on its selfie camera, and even phones below it should have it even if it's just basic CDAF.
