It’s lacking in a lot of performance but if you want to get a new flip phone and guarantee more updates without breaking the bank, the base Razr is the way to go. While they could cram in better specs for the price, it’s still a perfectly usable phone for daily use, what people don’t understand these days is phones are far more powerful than 90% of people actually need. Many people’s days won’t change a bit with a slower chip like in the 60 and would gladly accept the good battery life.

beep, 12 Jun 2025why did they leave the original razr shape?! this looks lik... moreBecause it’s a terrible shape for modern phones. That design was back when phones had physical keyboards and a small non touch display on top. Now there is a full touch screen and coming from someone who has used the 2019 Razr and Razr V3, I can strongly say the old design translated horribly to modern phones. The new design still looks sleek and nice but is far more practical

Even though it is relatively affordable, I feel like they could've still crammed more performance in here.

Perhaps, should've used the Dimensity 8350 instead.

While si/c offers better density allowing for larger capacities in a smaller space, all of the tests I've seen show there isn't a difference in the running times if the capacities are similar.

In some tests like this, the Honor 400 and others, the si/c batteries are under-performing against smaller li-on batteries. Others factors are involved, but these run times are not consistent.

Whst good does it do to buy this phone if there terrible long term support is practically non existent. I bought the Galaxy S25 Ultra 1TB for $709 USD mainly because it offers 7 years of OS update support. Samsung is way better at long term support than Motorola will ever offer.

why did they leave the original razr shape?! this looks like another boring chinese phone! make it smaller and make it with the original razr shape!!!

Almost all of these phones are too wide, and not easy to hold in a hand and use it.

It's very good, I like it

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2025I thought motorola makes cheaper phones. $700 for a folding phone IS cheap.

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2025I thought motorola makes cheaper phones. Their Ultra phones are same price as Samsung

And Samsung drops harder in price so at some point, Samsung is 300 to 400 euro cheaper.

I have both the 2024 and the 2025 and I'm experiencing the same battery challenges. I've initially gotten the Razr 2025+ but returned it for a few issues ( which may have had to do with my model perhaps, but I was fairly pleased with the Razr 2024). Now I'm having second thought as.the battery is considerably worse than the 2025 model. While I used to get 17 hours consistently without the need to recharge throughout the day...I'm having this phone run for 10-12 hours...I mean...it's not even a " maybe" but visibly worse...
