Honor 400 review

I bought one 3 months back on the strength of reviwe like this one. BIG mistake on my part and I'd argue this review is missing some key issues primarily on software*:

- "the core Android experience remains largely standard"
The core Android experience has been ravaged.

- "MagicOS introduces Magic Portal, a smart drag-and-drop feature."
This "feature" is useless and barely works. It's certainly not "smart".

- "streamlining tasks like copying and sharing information."
This tool is the opposit of streamlined and makes sharing stuff harder and less intuitive

- "MagicOS v9 ... enhancing productivity and accessibility.
Again I'm months in and my productivity is down. Magic OS is not good for productivity.

More importantly it misses big issues like Magic OS' tendency to kill apps you're using even when you ask it not to.

Avoid this phone. Buy ANY other phone.

*build quality is also wose than expected - I've not cracked a screen by dropping a Moto or Oneplus in a decade or more, but weeks into owning this I had.

      There is some features is not included
      1 call recorder
      2 sensor not work when hold the phone in your ears to turn off the screen, so some time you hang up the call or make loud speaker open, or mute, its an old opton why they ignore it
      3 the desktop is very tight and you cannot make the icons bigger

                I think the cover and charging brick including varies with regions, I bought mine in the middle east and i got all of the accessories and a pre installed screen protector.

                      NICE PHONE camera is beyong my expectation my prevoius phone is VIVO V27, 29, 40 & samsung A56. all of them are no match to the Honor 400 5g.. For me the only downside is Battery even got 6000 mah Si/ion very fast drain compare TO VIVO V27, 29, 40

                          Overpriced with downgrades yet not the best app performance & battery lifespan even overheating. though it could be solved by software they don't care about user outside China! 😕 😢

                              This phone can zoom up to 30x. I don't see that anybody mentioned that.

                                I like the pictures. Chiînophone are often good at that. That’s all they are good about

                                Proc I don’t get it. Review says it’s relatively bad for basic tasks such as multitasking but it’s 8gig and 700k antutu. I think it’s os and driver shyyt not the Proc itself.

                                      Here in Egypt, I got it with 6000 mAh battery an 80 W charger and a USB cable. I love its AI a lot.
