Well, if gaming is priority, it would look different, but for me, calls+wifi endurance are the most important, also with wifi being mostly less than video, I do not take it into consideration.
Seeing test scenarios and update, test is highly affected with brightness, new tests using higher brightness I would guess, since endurance went from 14h to 10h on some phones.
Sadly, while you can get 16h on some phones, some will out just 9hours, pretty sad for premium device I say, 7th gen even.

Actually if you use low res consistently, up to 3x its ok, 10x there are no lens for that, only a crop.
Hi res only on main camera, so usage is quite limited to 1x, and comparing quality to s25u, processing is worse - is it sensor and optics or something else?
Anyway for 2000 its quite bad camera hw, I wonder why they used 1/4'' camera...

vivo fold got 12h and 16h, some others close to 12h.
so its not just cameras being bad...

It isn't so much a question whether it's needed or not. It's a question of what constituted fraudulent marketing. It's a clone of HDR10+ and it is sold as the best video experience ever. It sounds illegal, because it probably is.

Another gadget blogger decided to check the lies of Chinese manufacturers, as sites like this are so gullible to their lies. They got hold of all major brands claiming to be ultra thin and measured the thickens of each phone, all without screen protectors. Lo and behold. Chinese companies lies through their teeth. None of them are anywhere as thin as they lie about. The Galaxy Z Fold7 is the thinnest foldable in the world. By quite some margin! The only phone thinner than 9mm:

Don't know how this is 4.5 scoring. Everything is worst off than the Chinese. The only redemption is the video record. As a phone leader, Samsung probably has relinquish from it.

Dolby Vision is a scam. It's HDR10+ with a license fee. Identical specifications for current hardware, even if you'd buy a 50,000 buck TV. Not having it is a bonus. All relevant streaming services offers HDR10+. Any service that doesn't isn't worth paying for as they're incompetent.
