      This is not a "small" or "compact" phone by any measure and much fatter than previous Xperia 10 models.

        I'm not a bezel snob like many people on here, but eesh, the design was ruined the moment the display of the phone was shown. Having a chin is one thing, but having a chin AND a forehead in this period of time just looks so ugly and outdated. I know its a midrange offering, but even midrange and budget phones have had holepunches/teardrops for years, and the chin is mostly gone on any phone over $200. Sony needs to get with the times.. they pull things like this, then wonder why their market share has only been shrinking

              For this amount, Realmi and One Plus offer a 3rd generation Snapdragon 8 processor, a triple camera (IMX866, IMX890, LYT-808), 12/256 GB memory, as well as an excellent AMOLED WQHD+ display. To be honest, Sony Xperia 10 VII doesn't look very attractive against their background.

                This is overpriced for the features. Bump up specs or lower price. '8 year old design'. Why is that a problem for those who want it? Not everyone needs a 6.9 in screen.
                Imagine a Legacy Series Samsung Galaxy S7/s8 with modern hardware at a good price. I think there's potential in models like this but the price is going to have to be a bit more... fair.

                    Sony is very good of making stone age phones 😂

                      This review is biased.
                      - What if not everyone wants a bigger screen and a heavier phone?
                      - Charging speed is overhyped.
                      - None of the reviewers said that Galaxy FLIP 21:9 is too long, but for Sony, it is a problem

                      The only real problem I see is that this phone is a downgrade from my Xperia 5 III, and it is by no means a midranger, it is a premium lowranger

                          [deleted post]Naturally, because there are no alternatives when you want front-facing speakers + screen without cutouts + 3.5mm jack + back that is not made of glass + clean OS with some simple QoL features.

                            Sony is simply staying true to its identity.
                            It would be endless to react to every criticism from strangers...

                              If the price is around 150$-200$ this is definitely good.

                                Everyone should copy this camera bump design or make it like on Redmagic since any other makes phones wobble on the desk like crazy

                                      Anonymous, 12 Sep 2025Sony releasing the same phone three years in a row. At leas... moreAh yeah. Exactly the same. No even need to use "comparison" feature of GSMArena. Unlike every other manufacturer - modifications they roll out are undoubtedly essential.

                                      Sony knows their clients. There are few of us. We are ready to pay for the features every other manufacturer discarded. We care about ergonomics, we have our standards of aesthetics. We know, the price is higher than it should be, and the SOC is older than it should be, and camera could be better. But we can tolerate these flaws, and can't tolerate absense of landmark Xperia features. And there is no alternative for Xperia 10 in it's price range for us.

                                      Don't want compromises? Check Xperia 1 for 1600 EUR.

                                        Correct placement of cam button like 1 series
                                        12/256 GB variant
