Never expected this phone to score high with the nerdy measurements. however for an actual iPhone user this is the phone a lot of been waiting for. Good job Apple.

It's just the typical Apple apologist nonsense by the usual crowd.

If this was 6.0“ 145g, day one purchase. Why do phones have to get bigger …

              *pro Samsung line*
              *pro Huawei line*

I am still thinking who's the target of this phone? People with a wallet full of $$$? Nope, they defenitly go with an 17 Pro. So who gonna get it? 1% of iPhone buyers or even less. If I had $$$ I would purchase it as a CarPlay Phone ;) But I don't have money so I bought 17 Pro Max on Friday, becasue I can't afford shit.

David 040882, 26 Sep 2025I think whoever buys this doesn't know what he/she wan... moreI mean, consider the iPhone Air despite all its concessions horrible in 2025. But, that's only because in Canada with the financing offered by mobile providers + the fact that I work in mobility I could get it for MUCH less than his original price.

definitely not as awful as I expected it to be but still very overpriced and subpar

"Even if Samsung beat Apple to the market with the Galaxy S25 Edge, there's little doubt who influenced who"

Good to know you have deep insights into each one's factories to know exactly that the product announced months later influenced the production of the earlier S25 one.. And, anyway, in a similarly sized body, Samsung included USB 3.0, 8K recording, reverse wireless charging and managed to fit stereo speakers, an ultra wide camera, a SIM card tray and even a vapour chamber.

So, better Apple gets some influence from Samsung not to remove half of the phone..

This is not even true anymore, 8 Elite 5 is Qualcomm's latest.. Copy-paste article..

Anonymous, 26 Sep 2025wish "thin" wasnt the way to go, but compact The Galaxy Z Flip7 is your salvation. It is ultra compact. Half the size of these "thin" phones in your pocket, but with a proper sized battery for more than a full day's worth of use.

The long list of Cons sound like the review rating of 4 out of 5 stars is exagerrated?

It's a nice phone that prioritizes asthetics over function, so a lot of compromises had to be made - if that's what the buyer wants, it's as good as it gets - otherwise buy something else that is a better value.

"Galaxy S25 Edge [...] is also 0.2mm thicker"
0.16mm thicker, if we want to be this precise. The Air is 5.64mm thick.

Shamrock Sean, 26 Sep 2025Well, take reviews with a pinch of salt because I know some... morePixel fanatics always say the phone is fine. Of course it's fine if you ignore the price and competition. 90% of people are fine with a mid-range phone, but only Pixel (and Apple Air) users are happy to pay $1000+ for it.

Anonymous, 26 Sep 2025wish "thin" wasnt the way to go, but compact sadly the only way we'd get compact these days is with a foldable and their flimsy, next to impossible to replace displays :(

Single camera at the back and with the smaller sensor too
                                      Cheap-ish feeling in the hand.
Battery life not as good as other iPhones.
Charging is slower too, USB 2.0.
Apple iOS 26 is chaotic and starts to fall behind the curve in terms of features.
                                      Storage upgrades are costly.
Just one speaker, quiet and with unsatisfactory audio quality at that.
                                      No physical SIM card slot

Damn, I expected it to have cons, but this many? If Samsung released the Galaxy S2 Edge at a lower price, it wouldn't have been so heavily criticized, cause as we know now, it is the superior thin phone and it Isn't even all that close.

Shamrock Sean, 26 Sep 2025What's wrong Pixel clarity?? You take all reviews as g... moreThere's nothing wrong with Pixel clarity. I think Vivo's and Oppo's flagships might offer superior clarity, but I prefer the overall look of Pixel photos. And yes, I do go by reviews. I can't afford to buy other flagships to compare to my Pixel; that's exactly the purpose of reviews.
