Anonymous, 26 Sep 2025wish "thin" wasnt the way to go, but compact sadly the only way we'd get compact these days is with a foldable and their flimsy, next to impossible to replace displays :(

    Single camera at the back and with the smaller sensor too
    Cheap-ish feeling in the hand.
    Battery life not as good as other iPhones.
    Charging is slower too, USB 2.0.
    Apple iOS 26 is chaotic and starts to fall behind the curve in terms of features.
    Storage upgrades are costly.
    Just one speaker, quiet and with unsatisfactory audio quality at that.
    No physical SIM card slot

    Damn, I expected it to have cons, but this many? If Samsung released the Galaxy S2 Edge at a lower price, it wouldn't have been so heavily criticized, cause as we know now, it is the superior thin phone and it Isn't even all that close.

I think Vivo's and Oppo's flagships might offer superior clarity, but I prefer the overall look of Pixel photos. And yes, I do go by reviews. I can't afford to buy other flagships to compare to my Pixel; that's exactly the purpose of reviews.

        If apple was gonna put one camera at the back it should have been the best one (with the big sensor like in pros ).

          It's an amazing piece of engineering. All the nit-picking is done by the android soyboys that just like to complain about anything Apple.

            Photos from Air looks like shit, not sharp at all, it's even hard to look at them...

              I'm not sold on the Air, or the Edge. To me, these are like the 1st and 2nd gen foldables. It's like they are testing the water. Every credit for the power efficiency and durability of these phone, but they are a for a niche consumer base.

                  The everything is: you can change the battery by yourself.
                  Other iPhones is not easy to find a Apple battery.

                    17hrs of call time is garbage isnt it
                    Doesnt this mean standby battery life on mobile data is atrocious? That N1 may be actually worse than Samsung modems

                                  Apple engineers completely slept on the silicon carbide battery tech, which would've allowed the iPhone Air to ship with a 4500mAh+ battery while keeping physical sim support. Maybe even keeping an ultrawide as well.

                                  Meanwhile, Tim Cook called removing the sim card tray to fit an half decent lithium cell "incredible innovation" on live TV. Except innovation would've been to avoid such blatant compromises, not to embrace them.

                                  I don't understand this company, nor do I understand the people in awe before this product.

                                    Why can't all phones have it? In fact, most had it just a few years ago before Apple started the absurd trend of blocky frames.

                                    Besides, this device is absurd at this price without the Si/C battery. Why inflinix can be lighter AND have a battery that's 63% bigger!? Is there a Chinese embargo on decent batteries?

                                        only scenario I look for a slimmer profile is to flip the phone. flip phones have the similar slim profile with similar camera, thermal and battery constraints yet, they include the flip form factor
