You would never buy a PC that has child lock and no administrator account unless you're not an adult.

How about maybe just don't put so much pre-installed garbage on the phone.

What you're talking about is the lithium battery losing capacity after about 2 years of heavy use. This is completely normal and has more to do with the lithium battery technology. I agree however that hyperOS is not good for battery life and that it needs to be heavily optimized.

Of course all bloatware can easily be deleted off of Xiaomi phones. The important thing is to unlock the bootloader and gain root access to your device. Then you can delete anything you want.
Most phone manufacturer's nowadays don't even allow you to unlock the bootloader and root your phone. Xiaomi is an exception. So far I have not come across a Xiaomi phone that cannot be rooted.

if you ever have used xiaomi before, it has way too many bloatware that cannot be deleted. I wish they give you an option to buy stock rom. Also, the phones tend to die prematurely around 1-2 yrs

These are quite low compared with the prices announced, and these are official sellers. My current phone is almost 5 yrs already and is due replacing soon before the screen totally malfunctions.

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2025sony all the way !!Sony doesn't produce good smartphones recently.
Nobody really does. It's all e-trash everywhere you look.

Maybe ulefone still makes good devices but that's about it.
Motorola has the potential to make good devices but I don't know what they're smoking because their devices suck lately.
Xiaomi used to be good but not anymore. What happened?

I have a OP Nord 3 now but I'm strongly considering upgrading to the 15t pro, as it's "only" 688€ where I live.

Mini help here would be appreciated… I’m torn between this 15T Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro. Back cameras are very important for me (selfie cam mostly for video call only) and both are almost same. I like the smaller size, but i also like the mocha gold one. I see that the 17 pro also has more technical advantages that i really appreciate, like chipset, longer OS support, battery, usb, etc., but i dont know if it justifies the USD150 price difference here in my place. Also, i have tried a china version xiaomi before and really don’t mind (turned off ads, deactivated chinese apps, already has google play services) because its not as bad as people say.

you know what's grinding my gears? it's 2025 and GSMArena's PC website UX is not responsive. Pulling my screen to a side window doesn't adjust the elements accordingly.

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2025Must've been some scam 3rd party sellerNot a scam seller. It was from Amazon themselves due to a glitch where they had a coupon that accidently applied twice taking off £300 and only lasted a couple hours before it got fixed. I bought the Mocha Brown for £380 256GB. So no you can no longer get 1TB Titanium model only for £415.

Why can't we use HyperOS contact and dialer on global variant? I wanna have phone that can change the dock icon style on the mainscreen when I change the theme.
