I have seen in the verdict of the review said "Feature-rich HyperOS with 4 years of support", is that mean the Xiaomi 15T Pro has only four major OS upgrade in future? I am so confusing now!

May I ask if anyone knows how many Major OS upgrade that would be available for Xiaomi 15T Pro?

but still more than a number flagships have to offer.

      Have TO offer.

flush with the camera island and there are no sticking bits.

      Sticking OUT bits.

Only two obvious missed edits this time.

But i do have a guess.

              Its probably for repairability.
Glass panels are harder to repair due to the fact that the tiny shards can be annoying to clean through.
              And it probably costs more

The fiber glass is probably easier since its not completely glass? And is cheaper?

This is just rough guess though.

If you take a closer look, you will realize that the 1x photos from the main camera are unusable. The camera's software actually do a very bad job at stitching together the 1x image (around the border) and the 5x telephoto image (at the center). The latter is slightly smaller scale than the rest of the image, resulting in a huge pixelated "step" between both stitched images. You can clearly see that in most 1x samples.

Rosso, 03 Oct 2025The telephoto lens is quite large for zoom lenses with such... moreMy point remains. They stated the sensor itself is large ('featuring a large jn5 sensor") and it isn't a large sensor. It's true that it is harder to incorporate larger sensors at 5x but still, even back in 2021 we had 1/2" 5x periscopes. You are making a different point though than what's written in the article as you are saying it's quite large for a 5x sensor not that it's a large sensor.

At its launch price, it just isn't a good deal, however the T Pros drop quite quickly, give it 3-6 months and it will be like 500-600 euros, a price point where it's gonna fly

Quality of a camera these days is more down to software and personal preferences rather than anything objective

The review team should take more care in their reviews. For example you mention that it uses 'a large 1/1.3" sensor' for the main camera and then mention it features 'a large Samsung JN5 sensor' for the 5x telephoto. How can a 1/2.76' sensor be considered large? Even on Samsung's website they refer to it as a small sensor as they write 'The ISOCELL JN5 is a small 50MP image sensor'. Also how can you desribe the main sensor and telephoto as large when the size is so different. I'm not sure if it's lack of knowledge, using Xiaomi's own marketing of the telephoto or just carelessness.

Also, you mention in the alternatives that the Xiaomi 15t pro has 'a higher-quality 5x telephoto camera' than the Vivo x200 but it is the Vivo x200 that has a higher quality 1/1.95" telephoto camera with a brighter aperture also. I think what you mean is that the Xiaomi 15t pro has a longer optical zoom (5x versus 3x optical zoom), but it doesn't have a higher qaulity telephoto camera.

You also have listed two conflicting base/strarting prices in the review (799 euro in the introduction and 900 euro in the conclusion)

i think the T Pro phone is usually one of the more balanced Xiaomi phones. It's a pity they don't offer it in China
