If you take a closer look, you will realize that the 1x photos from the main camera are unusable. The camera's software actually do a very bad job at stitching together the 1x image (around the border) and the 5x telephoto image (at the center). The latter is slightly smaller scale than the rest of the image, resulting in a huge pixelated "step" between both stitched images. You can clearly see that in most 1x samples.

They stated the sensor itself is large ('featuring a large jn5 sensor") and it isn't a large sensor. It's true that it is harder to incorporate larger sensors at 5x but still, even back in 2021 we had 1/2" 5x periscopes. You are making a different point though than what's written in the article as you are saying it's quite large for a 5x sensor not that it's a large sensor.

At its launch price, it just isn't a good deal, however the T Pros drop quite quickly, give it 3-6 months and it will be like 500-600 euros, a price point where it's gonna fly

Quality of a camera these days is more down to software and personal preferences rather than anything objective

The review team should take more care in their reviews. For example you mention that it uses 'a large 1/1.3" sensor' for the main camera and then mention it features 'a large Samsung JN5 sensor' for the 5x telephoto. How can a 1/2.76' sensor be considered large? Even on Samsung's website they refer to it as a small sensor as they write 'The ISOCELL JN5 is a small 50MP image sensor'. Also how can you desribe the main sensor and telephoto as large when the size is so different. I'm not sure if it's lack of knowledge, using Xiaomi's own marketing of the telephoto or just carelessness.
Also, you mention in the alternatives that the Xiaomi 15t pro has 'a higher-quality 5x telephoto camera' than the Vivo x200 but it is the Vivo x200 that has a higher quality 1/1.95" telephoto camera with a brighter aperture also. I think what you mean is that the Xiaomi 15t pro has a longer optical zoom (5x versus 3x optical zoom), but it doesn't have a higher qaulity telephoto camera.
You also have listed two conflicting base/strarting prices in the review (799 euro in the introduction and 900 euro in the conclusion)

- Higher Prime CPU Clock Speed: The main difference is the clock speed of the most powerful "prime" core.
- Potential for Minor Clock/Efficiency Tweaks: The "Plus" variant typically also has slightly higher clock speeds on the other performance cores and may have been optimized for better power efficiency and thermal regulation
.
- Focus on AI and Connectivity: MediaTek often highlights upgrades in AI (via the NPU) and connectivity features in their "Plus" versions, such as enhanced Generative AI performance or improvements in 5G and Wi-Fi features.
Target overal perfomance is matching with Snapdragon 8 Elite.

i think the T Pro phone is usually one of the more balanced Xiaomi phones. It's a pity they don't offer it in China

Why is it that the camera section described the photos as lacking contrast and appearing dark and "moody", but the conclusion says "excellent camera performance"?
If Xiaomi would optimise its photo processing, especially with selifies, it would have a great all-rounder.

That €900 base price looks like marketing. You'll pay that but get pad 7 for free at the xiaomi store. The base version is available at amazon.nl and amazon.es for €650, (voucher applied) and 750 (voucher applied) for the 512gb version and a redmi pad 2 pro. 7i glass is aimed at value added phones according to gorilla, so not really premium.

I don't get the glass fiber back panel. So it's some form of glass? Is more or less scratch resistant than a gorilla glass panel? It seems a lot of manufacturers are moving to this type of back panel like the upcoming OnePlus 15, if anyone here has one of these glass fiber phones how durable is it compared to the usual glass panels?

Recent Xiaomi phones returned to have good battery life.
Also the pictures from the main cam have a very natural look, far from what they usually do with Mediatek powered phones (lots of sharpening). Good stuff, solid phone.

3rd party stores already have it for €550, how on Earth is that possible? Its smaller brother is only €400 too, only €40 above the 14T.
Meanwhile, Samsung and iPhones drop €300+ within 6 months at the same type of store, so who exactly is losing money here, Xiaomi or 3rd party stores?
