Got this with the keyboard case and new buds 3 fe for around 700€. There's nothing else that comes even close at this price. But 1500€ is just too much

User, 11 Oct 2025It's not only the s-pen nerf. SoC is no longer snapdra... moreI don't know which tablets you had, but surely not Samsung and Apple ones.

Multitasking on iPads is terrible and Samsung doesn't even come close to it, OneUI 7 did remove stuff and I hate some of those decisions, but to claim that they go apple route it like saying the earth is flat.

Every time people make that claim they ignore other brands, check Xiaomi and HyperOS 3.0 before you say Samsung goes Apple.

Sorry if my comment sounds harsh, but so many people do this and it js starting to get annoying, Samsuns messes up, that is a fact.

But they are thankfully far away from the mess iPads have.

As for the chip, it it laughable they didn't put Snapdragon in it, not going to replace my S8 Ultra for another Samsung soon, and Xiaomi falls off for going "full Apple copy cat".

Maybe OnePlus, that is the only brand left (Lenovo is terrible, and others are not sold here)

norfor, 11 Oct 2025I can't speak for the Ultra but I got the Tab S11 basi... moreMain reason I would have rather see the review of the regular S11.

The chip is better than in your old tablet, it is a upgrade.

But from what I read it throttles a lot in the S11, a problem S11 Ultra doesn't have.

I truly wonder why it throttles though, tablets are so much larger so it shouldn't.

"Speak for yourself" never really work as a sentence, everyone is different.

I don't know anybody that uses it at all, except myself and I don't like the fact Samsung removed it.

Do I mind that loss? No, actually I dislike the switch to Mediatek more, don't get me wrong the chip in the current Samsung tablets is really good, but not the best and the price is high enough to go only for the best.

It should have been Elite inside at this point.

As for the pen, I used air gestures and loved it when they did work, but like the other comment said and I agree with that, using that thing requires a bit of a skill, so while it worked fine 95% of the time for me (and only after messing around with them for years on both Samsung tablets and phones), the other 5% always happened at moments you really wanted it to work.

Great functionality but far from perfect for that fact.

Back to the chip, enough other brands to pick from if you want more performance.

But it is sad that Samsung didn't put Elite in it.

Leanzazzy, 11 Oct 2025Speak for yourself. I and many others do use the Bluetooth ... moreI have never ever see anybody use on any Samsung tablet or phone.

But nearly everyone I knew did use the camera remote functionality on Samsung phones.

But my world is my world and yours is yours, you know different people then I guess.

I never found the gestures that good, I have seen Youtube videos and promotional material where people use it like a pro and it was amazing, every time I did it felt like to much hassle and it rarely worked for me, I just touched my Tab S9 Plus instead of messing arround and failing with the pen.

Maybe a "me" problem, maybe it just requires skill.

Anyhow it is still a loss of functionality so it sucks for those that used it.

jiyen235, 11 Oct 2025yeah right bro keep yappingAt least I'm not salty.

Plenty of other brands to pick from mind you.

I can't speak for the Ultra but I got the Tab S11 basic model as a replacement for my Tab S9 basic model and it feels like a downgrade in the real world use in both performance and battery life.

Rolly Ghiz, 11 Oct 2025For €1549, I'd very much get this over a standard lapt... moreLunar lake, Apple M series, Snapdragon X based laptop they are light and offer better battery life, unless Gsmarena test is different than others, it's normal for these modern laptop to hit 20H battery when browse or stream video.

I preferred the other notch fr. This notch makes it look like a low-range chinese tablet

And probably most important nerf to mention is the UI- Samsung is removing features to match Apple's IOS level of inconvenience and ugliness. In OneUI 7 they removed window opacity/transparency slider. Silently. That's a huge nerf to tablets, where multiple app Windows are always overlapping due to natural inability of Android to support Windows-like desktop. Removing that and enforcing Apple way of multitasking is pure nonsense, it's a chore to work on a Stab nowadays, as it always were on ipad!

Trend will sadly continue, it's called milking of customer base. Me and most people I know, who are using Samsung devices are definitely considering switching to something different in near future.

Anonymous, 11 Oct 202590% is overreacting for the spen. 10% was the BT part, A... moreSpeak for yourself. I and many others do use the Bluetooth functionality and air commands, in fact they are extremely useful when your hands are dirty or your tablet is out of reach.

They already perfected the S pen even with Bluetooth; there was absolutely no reason for them to remove it. They could have kept the feature and everyone would have been happy.

As the other guy said, you are defending them removing a feature that many people did find useful and pretending like you speak for everyone.
