According to a review on YouTube, the battery inside the EU version should still be 6510mAh but vivo limits the capacity to 5440mAh by software

People should stop calling "Global Version" because there isn't one. There're 3 versions for Chinese OEMs, which are Chinese version, Asian version (global rom but retains 6510mAh) and EU version (global rom with reduced battery). And US version don't exist because they don't sell over there.

Now there's just one left in my book - Honor Magic8 Pro. I will wait for that then I can make a decision among vivo X300 Pro, Oppo Find X9 Pro and Honor Magic8 Pro.

Vegetarian Mosquito, 04 Nov 2025Sure is one with 5440mAh, but something doesn't add up... moreEvery update of application consume more energy thats whjy old phone are laggy and new phone consuming more power even if the SOC is more energy saver and more powerful :)

'The X300 non-Pro scores a lot of points for compactness, while delivering camera results above what its physical size would suggest'. Does thos mean you have tested it or is it just a comment based on the hands on you had?

1400 euros ? Too much. Battery life needs to be better, I'd hope at least 14h in the endurance test. Speakers are still lacking and for a camera centric device, I want 120 FPS recording on ALL cameras. This may be considered nitpicking, but the price allows me to do so

Weirdly enough, they seem to have the Chinese or Global version of the base X300, because it got 17:31h SOT.

Hey GSMArena, you guys should take some mugshots with the teleconverter lens kit. Also, if you could test the battery life of the global version with the 6,500 mAh battery, that'd be nice.

yungfishstick, 03 Nov 2025It has to be the 5440 mAh variant judging by the active use... moreSure is one with 5440mAh, but something doesn't add up. Last year, phones had between 14 - 16h of active use score with 5000 - 5500mAh battery, but this one feels like 4500, at best, actualy, if you scale it up to 7500mAh of Oppo/Xiaomi, it would have at most 18h, which is way bellow what it expected. There is something wrong with optimisation, cause we already know this chip is not energy waster.

An interesting phone that could be interesting at a discounted price.
+ Nice and bright flat screen
+ Overall good camera performance (more natural and detailed compared to the Oppo Find X9 Pro)
+ Fast charging sped.
- Nerfed battery capacity in EU markets,
- Poor sustained CPU and GPU performance, it throttles at 50% after only a couple of minutes of use,
- The Samsung HPB Tetra²pixel 1/1,4" sensor yields poor results as expected, in fact (in good light) all the other sensors, including the smaller ultra wide one produce better and more natural details at 50 MP compared to the tele Tetra²pixel pattern one at 12,5 MP. I simply can't dislike the Samsung Tetra²pixel pattern sensors enough!
- €1400 MSRP.
