Well, this is WEIRD.
Some other sites have reported terrible sustained performance, with phone being unable to finish the 3D Mark stress test.
And here, it passed with flying colors!

        2025 is the strangest year in the world of smartphones. The new phones are worse than last year's or at best are on the same level. Only Apple improved its models... Who could have predicted it? 🤔🤣

          The company was built on the fundamentals of community contribution.
          Sadly, this Oneplus 15 doesn't have 3.5mm jack and microSD, and I'll have to get Nord CE5 then. And Sony's not available.

          Plus the camera downgrade, it seems like someone is controlling the smartphone industry, its like the companies are not free anymore.

Personally I'd prefer the Oneplus 15. I think it's slightly better for things like speakers, charging, software etc. But 4.1 seems too low. They definitely place a lot of weight.on cameras. The Vivo x300 for example gets 4.5. How that gets more than the Oneplus 15 is also dubious. It has far worse battery life, poor speakers, slower charging and is more expensive. Cameras are the only thing that are better, but really not by that much. Just ignore the scores is my advice and make your own decision. gsmarena does not have a proper scoring system. They just seem to add an overall score from their head that is not based on any particular methodology. That can never be consistent or fair so it's best to ignore the scores completely. If they had a propee scoring system they could explain it to readers but they don't so i think we can assume it's a subjective score based on the opinions and biases of the particular reviewer. It may even vary greatly depending on which particular reviewer/reviwers is/are reviewing the phone

                So, no need to bash this phone because of its cameras.
                Obviously, One Plus did some market research and found that their soecific target group just wants a very sturdy, sleek, fast phone with unmatched display experience and unmatched battery life.
                The camera geeks out there will anyway look elsewhere and go for the ultra variants from Vivo, Xiaomi or Oppo, heck, some camera aficionados will even go for a Huawei phone because of its photographic prowess.
                In my opnion, the phone that comes closest to this one may be the Realme GT8 pro, with emphasus on stellar speed and endurance, while nobody cares too much about its cameras.

                  The camera performance is beyond pathetic. Even the Nubia reviewed previously has better low-light performance on all three cameras.

No, I don't care if it has a MediaTek or a Snapdragon, the Oppo is the better cameraphone, so that's what I'd go with. 7,025mAh or 7,300mAh, they're both big enough.

                      It's just GSMarena ratings that doesn't make sense in more cases. They don't even look and compare photos in their reviews anymore. ObePlus 15 is not a better phone... come on.

The signal strength is supposedly excellent according to Chinese reviewers who have tested it. I think you mean average cameras not bad phones. If you're main focus is cameras then you basically have to go for an ultra model and pay the extra money. The ultras will have veey good camera setups. Xiaomi's will come in December in China and the others will follow in the firat few months of next year

                          I'm confused, the Xiaomi has more flaws than this, yet it got a higher score.

                          I guess most of the world will never know

                            Oppo is going two tiers from now on....

                            Find x is luxurious flagship
                            Oneplus is affordable flagship (with some tweaks)

Cams are not so good, maybe Honor suprise. but i think i wait next year, coz this year very bad phones (no real progress...).

                                  Funny... For GSMArena; the Huawei Pura 80 is "average" about camera quality and Oneplus 15 is "great".
                                  That's not the truth.
                                  Actually I have both at home, and clearly, the Oneplus 15 is really bad for photos and videos. Saddly, this is the only downside of this phone, but a huge one. The pura is golden (but the lack of google is very annoying)

                                    Almost 1k for a self proclaimed flagship with midrange level camera system. No thanks. The OP 13 is better. Btw, while I apreciatly the swiftness in the publishing of the review of the OP15, wheres the review for the base find x9?
