Someone knows why in India all cameras can shoot in 4k60 but in Europe only 4k30?

Worst speakers and sound quality, that too in 2026.
      WOW… just WOW.

Motorola/Lenovo, you didn’t just waste my money. You managed to attack my eardrums by fitting bargain-basement, half-rate speakers into a so-called modern smartphone. Every ringtone hurts, every call sounds harsh, and music feels like noise coming out of a cracked plastic box.

It honestly feels like sound tuning was skipped entirely. No balance, no depth, no clarity. Just irritating, sharp audio that makes me want to mute the phone permanently. This is not “average” sound. This is unacceptable sound.

What makes it even more ridiculous is that my old Moto One Fusion+ absolutely destroys this phone in speaker quality. Clear, loud, pleasant audio. That phone understood what speakers are supposed to do. Compared to this new device, the One Fusion+ feels premium.

I’ll admire my Moto One Fusion+ forever.
This new phone? A reminder that newer doesn’t always mean better, especially when basic things like sound quality are completely ignored.

moto, 26 Nov 2025Regarding the battery degradation, they claim 80% of batter... moreI know, it's a standard claim of every brand these days but it fails to say what the user experience will be. In case of older iPhones, when it reached 80% or less your phone was pretty useless unless you carried around a charger and/or powerbank. It didn't last a day, more like half a day. Same happens of course with bigger batteries but when you can have a day and a half or even two days of usage, it's pretty acceptable if you can still use for one day. The smaller the battery gets, even with power efficient chips, the lesser the convenience of not have to carry chargers and co (and the potential need of a charging plug somewhere). It sounds like nitpicking but it's my experience with such scenarios and when you're that old that you knew the good old dumb phones who could last a week or even two, it's painful and/or hard to accept that you need to carry that stuff in case of.

Was looking forward to this review.
Motorola is getting pretty close to competing with Samsung and Google

I am mainly dissappointed in the brightness of the screen especially manual mode..
My Pixel is nearly twice as bright and better speakers..
Still I want a lighter weight. durable grippy non case phone with at least a 6.7 screen and this is it.. when it is the same price or lower than a samsung edge would probably pick it up or hope an Ultra version or edge 80 improves my nitpicks

atichko, 26 Nov 2025Not a bad device. I kind of like it. Not because it's ... moreRegarding the battery degradation, they claim 80% of battery health after 1000 cycles

Not a bad device. I kind of like it. Not because it's thin (I'm still convinced it's a useless gimmick that forces compromises and makes repair-ability impossible) but the brand grew on me the last few years. Especially when the software support finally became worthy of the name. In this case I like the fact that it's so grippy and dares to use other materials and colours. Downside to me is the battery. Although it performs more than well it remains a smaller unit. The chip-set might be (and is) power efficient but battery degradation affects every power unit and when it's a smaller one from start then you'll feel it more rapidly then when it's a bigger unit. Same thing with iPhone's, they are certainly power efficient given the small batteries they use but you also feel it a lot sooner when the battery has degraded till a certain threshold. And since most devices are glued together tightly it always means going to a repair shop to have it swapped. In the good old days, at least you just had to pop the backside, take out the old and put in a new one. It took you 10 seconds...

                                So edge now means thin?

With such price they should have used at least 8s gen 3 minimum. Or older 8 gen 3. UK price is 599£. Thats same price as Motorola Edge 50 ultra 1 tb version.

I think this is a phone that's just simply not worth it with such a subpar SOC. It needed to have something much better, maybe the Snapdragon 8 Elite to even be remotely competitive. Right now it's so expensive that you're better off buying something else since you'll get more for the same money from other phones.

Shame about the textile back. I wouldn’t buy it with that because it’s going to be like Apple’s Fine Woven cases disaster, scratched, scuffed and go dirty extremely quickly. I don’t use cases on my phones.
