Don't get me wrong Nubia use fantastic hardware for the price but man their software and support is terrible, go look at forums etc. its riddled with bugs that just never get fixed.

I have weird feeling that that poco end as Poco x3Pro with made lots of heat that end up showing its badly solder chip that brick phones and needed re-ball to make it work again...

Screen disappoints. It's darker than the one on my Note 13 pro, which is half the price of the Poco or less.

Nubia Z80 Ultra over Poco F8 Ultra:
1. main camera 35mm 1/1.31" vs 24mm 1/1.3" - much better
2. ultrawide 18mm AF vs 18mm No AF - much better
3. non LTPO screens - equal
4. selfie camera - much worse
5. battery - slightly better
6. sound speakers 1,5 vs 2.1 - (much?) worse
7. performance - equal
8. price - very close
There is something to think about.

Ok Xiaomi. Good job.
Sadly Qualcomm and TSMC didn't do so great with the 8 Elite Gen 5. Pretty hot chip, every single phone has had terrible sustained performance.

The temporary launch price of €750 for 16gb 512gb is an excellent price. It will go back to the regular price of €900 though after that ends which isn't that great. It's definitely the best value of the newly launched phones with flagship chips in Europe at launch

Poco has had this design on the F series since the F6 Pro, which was in 2023. It’s not an iPhone copy.

Here something is clearly not right; That throttling behaviour is not how it should behave, it should hit a certain point at where it is stable. I feel like we do need better benchmarks though too, with the ever-expanding evolution of high-performance cores all-core loads are less and less realistic
