some people are making a fuss about how disappointed they are because there is no GMS or ( the correct name for it PUMBS 😂)
if you dont like it then take your money to someone else it doesn't matter its your decision
also smartphones now is about
1 - a Robust body
2 - a good software
3 - a good hardware
4 - a good & low price meantainas
and huawei manage all that
but still struggling with the CPU with some improvement every year
............
but when you put all those advantages a side vs price in the other side then yah ALL SMARTPHONES MANUFACTURERS HAS FAILED HERE because all of them gave us a price that should be given to laptop territory not the smartphone thats my conclusion and opinion

I have used Huawei phones extensively, and actual users inside the community know these problems exist. It’s only the fake bots like you who live in denial about how bad the experience has become. Let’s be real: Pre-ban Huawei was a genuinely good brand. Post-ban, however, it has morphed into a 'patriotic phone' that sells at a premium price but is absolutely not worth it. Even their claims about having the best camera are outdated, they are constantly being caught and surpassed by brands like Vivo, Xiaomi, and Oppo.
It’s honestly a massive L that the fanbase today is so blind. You don't believe me? Go ahead, keep buying the product and enjoy sucking up that high price tag for a bad experience and subpar specs. You’re entering a cult with that 'Always Far Ahead' slogan, but the reality is this brand is lagging behind other Chinese manufacturers.
And don't try to dismiss me as some Western hater, I am Asian. I know the situation in both mainland China and the global market. Stop defending a brand that makes bad decisions. They proved they could be great before the ban, but instead of innovating, they chose propaganda, lies, and patriotic marketing to sell inferior products.

Also I found it weird tha... moreApp scaling on Huawei foldables is still not optimized. I’ve tried hard using cutout settings and scaling options, but some apps really don't adapt to tablet mode effectively. For example, games like Hero Siege: Pocket Edition, Bad North, and Crashlands 2 ran perfectly on my old Z Fold 3, but on the Mate X6, the scaling is so bad; it just zooms in and causes a lot of information loss.
Also, Huawei phones using EMUI 15 or HarmonyOS Next cannot run the YouTube app higher than 1080p. I could talk a lot about how slow this experience is; it makes me mad and is eventually pushing me from loving this phone for its camera to absolutely trashing it. I even went to a nearby official Huawei service center to check if my device was defective, and they said there is no problem with the hardware.
Overall, Huawei's foldable software is still lacking and undercooked. For photos, the camera is really great, but the video quality is bad. I think this is connected to the SoC and ISP because the video just feels like a mid-range phone.

Also I found it weird that you said about apps bad scaling when my previous Huawei tablet on HarmonyOS have good apps scaling (and sometimes better than Samsung OneUI).

For anyone wondering about the real global experience with the Mate series ex user of mate X6 on EMUI 15 but also harmony os next (i pay to modification allowing to change to harmony os), I have used this phone for almost four months after coming from a Z Fold 3. I originally picked it over the Z Fold 6, Oppo Find N3, and Honor Magic V3 because of reviews praising the camera. While the camera is indeed great especially in low light, the video quality is poor, and honestly, the software experience is just horrible. It feels like the most undercooked foldable I have ever used because basic features just aren't there. For instance, app scaling is terrible, often leaving black bars on the screen like when using YouTube in portrait mode where you lose space, and you can't even force full screen in the settings.
The multitasking is also broken because you cannot split apps horizontally for most third-party apps, only vertically, which is a huge limitation I even documented on my Reddit post.
Battery life is another major letdown. Despite the large capacity on paper, I only get about 6 hours on the inner screen and 9 hours on the cover. Since it uses a silicon-carbon battery, the degradation is alarming, my battery health dropped from 100 to 95 percent in just four months, and the service center told me this rapid drop is actually normal for this technology.
What really bothers me though is the marketing. In every presentation, the CEO of huawei claims they are ahead of competitors, but the truth is they are not far ahead, instead it’s just a phone wrapped in a "patriotic phone" marketing motto which is bad because you cannot criticize it and people just become blind to the flaws. Even in China on Bilibili, people know the chip is weak and heating is an issue, but deep performance analysis often gets silenced.
They are charging a premium price for a device that lags and has worse software than the competition, kind of like the Google Pixel series strategy where you pay a lot for bad performance. I trust brands like Xiaomi, Oppo, or Vivo much more at this point. I eventually sold the Mate X6 and went back to Samsung with the Z Fold 6, and the difference with One UI 8 is massive because everything just works smoothly. If you really want a Chinese foldable, I’d recommend the Honor Magic V3 since my friends have had a much better experience with it, but if you buy Huawei now, you are just paying the highest price for the biggest letdown.
For chinese foldable you better choose from oppo, xioami , vivo and other brand compare to huawei cause they just bad in software and they hardware not totally worth it for your money.

Surely that can't be true? It would have to be classed as a different/ lower model or something to have inferior hardware in the same device no? Otherwise it's pretty misleading for consumers?
