HTC Touch HD preview: First look

21 October 2008
The HTC Touch HD may be the biggest, meanest thing that has happened to Windows Mobile for quite some time now. It's got an unforgiving spec sheet that can easily put to shame most high-end devices out there...

Are you sure that it come with UMTS1700 network connectivity (for T-Mobile)? The HTC website and several companies selling it now do not show that it does.

on the screen when unboxed is a warning label (like the objects appear closer on the mirror on hire cars) that you should remove it from the pocket of your pants before sitting down. as ever, there are bits on this that beat the omnia and ipnone, and other bits where each of those have the upper hand over the rest. there is still no ultimate" version

I wouldn't get this. Resistive touch screens are far inferior to capacitive screens.

is it better then iphone ? but certinlly HTC touch diamond , interms of style , buld quality . Nokia' s new flick 5800 really the market leader when it comes to the over all performance .

sorry to break it to you kids that complain about the phone "not being built for the US"...but um...get used to, the US is losing it's position as a superpower and over time will end up with a much poorer economy. move to China or Europe and leave this trash hole behind.

Great ! As a mobile PC, it has most of the needs covered. For people who prefer a business phone, go to Blackberry. For those who prefer hype, go to Iphone. But, for those who really appreciate Multimedia, Internet, Organisers, etc; this is one of the best. Especially with such a big and high resolution screen, it will be my favourite. Just hope the speed and performance of it don't let us down. Not like the Tytn II.
