In other forum(Esato and Mobile-Review) Sony Ericsson Fan... moreThe reason eldar may seem biased (but isnt), is because nokia allow him to know more about their plans and products. I remember a post when he even admitted that he and his daughter had a hands on experience with the unannounced e75 and were quite fond of it. In other posts he talks of phones that are coming soon like e63, 2 xm smartphones in Q1 2009, n-series with vga screen, a touchscreen smartphone cheaper than 5800xm, etc. However, when he reviews phones he does them without being biased. If a nokia handset has flaws, he will reveal them.
But when it comes to gsmarena, they love to praise samsung products and hide their flaws. In order to get hands-on remarks, you have to go to the opinions section. I have never seen a review of a samsung product where they say the battery life is bad, yet there are so many. Yet when it comes to nokia, se, lg, htc, they shall always find something bad to say about it. These days they dont even review motorola products. People have been waiting for the zn5 review for months, yet other sites gave theirs ages ago.
This year, gsmarena has been very unprofessional and it is beginning to show.

Well, this is the first time that GSM Arena and Mobile-review.com, both have the same excellent feedback on the camera of Samsung INNOV8. Well it is about time that Samsung phone and I wish LG phone will be reviewed extensively, especially coming from Mobile-review.com.
I do not believe that Gsm arena is biased towards samsung and lg. They just praised everything that is deserving.

Great camera phones and the best although I'm dissapointed with the quality. I think, they should have focus more on the details of the photos and also with the contrast (because the colors seems not to be real) rather than on the sizes of the photos. Also they should have added a proper flash(except for C905 which gives it some disadvantages. Even N82 have a xenon flash, I think samsung and Lg should take considerations on it.)

people..consider these:
If you're just a casual snapper any of the 4 camphone will do. you can even say that it's a close call. the only other thing that you have to look into was that if it is equipped with xenon flash and the user-friendliness of the device. I'd say in this area, the SE C905 has the upper hand.

In other forum(Esato and Mobile-Review) Sony Ericsson Fan Boy said that they don't like Eldar Murtazin because some bias review to Nokia.
Now, Sony Ericsson Fan Boy said that GSMArena have some bias to Samsung.
I think the problem is Sony Ericsson Fan Boy can not accept if other manufacture produce better phone than Sony Ericsson.

ars, 08 Nov 2008even samy soul with very small non carl zeiss lens easily b... moreOh please. You know thats a load of crap. Why do other reviews say different things? Gsmarena is biased.
Furthermore, according to some websites, the i8510 prototypes took much better photos than the retail versions. Im not sure why though.
I think GSMArena should have done this 8mp comparison should have been done when the phones have settled properly into the market and received their firmware updates. That way there are less chances of bugs affecting the camera performance and we shall know who is the best all-rounder. Right now, all these phones are so new the actual results posted in the review may be affected by unintended bugs.

I used to be a diehard SE fan (1 year ago), but their phone quality have PLUMMETED in the past (reminiscent of their sales anyone? =X). My friend owns a C905 and he returned his because of poor camera quality compared to my INNOV8. I never realized how amazing Samsung phones really were until I was introduced to the Omnia and finally, and most recently, the INNOV8.
The picture and video quality was very noticeably better on the INNOV8 than on the C905. The difference was almost so much that the 8.1megapixel spec that SE is advertising almost seems like a mere, cheap marketing gimmick... Not to mention that the phone feels kinda funny (cheap, I guess?)

I have both e Innov8 n C905 ... and the Sammy wins hands down in e camera dept. Have used both extensively and e Sammy is consistently better in every aspect. I have no brand loyalty and neither is my primary phone for daily use. That honor belongs to my new toy - SE Xperia X1.

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2008It may seem that GSMArena could be a tad biased towards Sam... moreyep, by the way the writer reviews the phones, we can really tell how biased they were to Samsung. it seems that when NOKIA is not around, SAMSUNG is their next bet. :)
i still can feel how rude they treat Sony Ericsson. c905 is better than the rest imho since it has Xenon flash. why didn't they have ELABORATE TESTS with the use of a Xenon and LED flash? they only did one test for it.
gsmarena is very bias. tsk tsk tsk.

It may seem that GSMArena could be a tad biased towards Samsung but my opinion is that Samsung is doing OK with cameras.
For the people complaining about GSMArena's bad marks for the C905, may I remind you that the focal length of the C905 is less than the other three contenders so that the image quality is lessened due to a wider camera angle.
Samsung has been doing very well with the cameras such as the U900's 5 megapixel compared to its competition, but nonetheless GSMArena does seem to show some bias towards Samsung. Hopefully this is purely coincidental, as I have trusted GSMArena's reviews for around 2 and a half years.
