I didn't have much chance with this phone. A week after I bought it, the screen went black and the whole phone froze. I didn't drop it, or anything, I suppose it was just bad luck. The keyboard is pretty cool, but it definitely doesn't make up some other poor features such as the camera and the music player. I tried to change my usual brand when buying this phone, but I'm now back with Nokia, much more reliable and easier to use, even if the design is less nice.

this is available in UAE. i discovered that the touchscreen could be for messaging as well.

there is a small button in the upper right side of the numbers that says "1,2,3" if u touch that part it changes the pad to letters.

i got this phone one week ago for my GF for 140 euro (beside lg ku990 ) ,and let me say .the phone deserve the price ,good keyboard for sms and nice screen for images viewing ,good 2 mpx cam for day shots ,and radio and mp3 player.
my gf is totaly happy with 2 phones ,one with touch and great camera and the other with keyboard and fun.

now is time for me to get omnia or xperia x1.

In my country, Boost (Optus) are selling these as the "Webslider" as a cheaper version of the HipTop (which they don't have)

To be honest, I've used one and didn't like it. Controls are way too fidgety and it's not worth what you pay for it.

I have had this phone for a few weeks but.........

I have had to replace it 6 times with another handset due to the fact the ribbon cable in the slider mechanism is so fragile it keeps breaking,

there is also and issue with the sealed charger because 4/6 of mine have had a broken charger so.........

                      This phone is pooey
