has lg released a software upgrade for the KF900? im having lots of problems with it. sometimes the phone freezes with a blye screen. any sugestions?

Im wondering about the phone, i heard that it resets itself but its because of the firmware...can we fix that ourself? and uhhhhm, does the screensaver REALLY advertise clothes from prada? LOL...i heard we cant even turn it off ahah! Anyway, msg me if you want at r.chan4@hotmail.com. =)

opera mini does not install for me, it just says "failed to connect to the internet." tried with wifi and 3g profile settings. anybody else getting this, or know a solution? my phone is unbranded and has v10d firmware.

Can anybody help me with setup eamil and internet on this phone ? I use At&t USA. I retty much have internet, but have problems on facebook and google websites. Had email, but now it asks for a APN and its not working anymore.... before I used email without apn and worked fine, but the option to leave it blank is gone ?????? I have hard time with this phone... :(

It's not clear how GSM Arena tests DivX and Xvid compatibility but neither the Prada nor the Renoir support any Xvid profile despite claims to the contrary by LG. Xvid.org defines four profiles known as "mobile, portable, home, and highdef". Videos created to those profiles will not play on any LG phone due to difficult requirements like GMC, QPel and 5 B-frames.
So why claim Xvid support? In practice, most "Xvid" files you encounter on the internet are not Xvid videos. They are actually created to profile specifications defined by DivX Inc! Effectively, they are DivX videos! That's why many OEM get away with false claims of "Xvid support". Most users are unlikely to discover the truth. If GSM Arena created their own test videos using the standard Xvid profiles, such claims would be quickly dispelled. Unfortunately, most reviewers just grab random videos off the internet because they don't actually understand MPEG4 video.
The LG Renoir, Viewty and Prada are DivX Mobile Certified phones which means they can play DivX Mobile Profile videos created by genuine DivX software. If you test some random "DivX" or "Xvid" video from the internet you will get random success.
