The Chocolate Phone Looks so classy with the supreme sound quality and function. One of the LG wallpaper with the liquid poured into the glass has gone after updating the firmware. If anyone has the wallpaper, pls tel me where to download. I'm still looking for LG CCL270 Leather case. It will looks classy with this pouch on. yeah overall classy and cool.

Ow, bye the way, the long 4inch is not a problem at all.
I can do & use everything with 1 hand.
It's even very handy while communicating, cause it feels like holding
a real phone, and not a small gadget.
Don't forget the look, superb!
Zoom functions for images are great. 5mp camera works fine.
Regards!

I had a blackberry storm, i had the Iphone, and now I have LG BL40.
LG is my best phone ever. E-mails like on my computer, office on bigscreen. Soudn quality is better than the other phones, videoquality is good enough. The screen contrast ratio and colours are better then Iphone! Black is black like it should and not black with some light in in. Sending messages in azerty goes very fast.
But Iphone is a little faster on responding. Just a little.
Interface is great and easy to use. The weight is perfect, Iphone is heavy. The screen is also sratch resistant, perfect! Webbrowser is fast en on 21:9 real like computer. GPS works great and fast with voice command. Finds satteliet in only 10seconds! Only negative point i can say about this phone, is poor battery life. When u use it a lot, u will have to recharge it every night. I don't like energy saving because i like the good light potential the screen has. And don't make e-mails and wheather widget get updates every 15min. because thats also lowers the battery life. Conclusion: PERFECT PHONE! And in belgium we can already buy it for €240,00 :)

LG New chocolate BL40 is an addition in the LG’s new series. It has TFT display and has a 256 color screen thus showing a very high quality picture. This handset is mostly used by professional and young people.

had the phone for a week now.
The Good : screen is the best yet, looks great, easy access to task manager, camera compares to a 3 year old point and shoot digital camera, stunningly different from other mobile phones.
The Myth : too long--> about length of slide phone open. less than an open flip phone. thin and narrow makes handling easy as one handed operation is feasible.
the bad : slow by my standards. all new interface for me to learn

between, dont look at phoneearenaa to judge this phone, I dont know what they do with the phones when they review them (specially LG phones) but from my experiance, not everything they say is true. My advice to every body is: Dont rely on websites to jusdge any gadgets, You can see them on the web sites and have some info and notes about them, but again try to check it for yourself and have trust only in your opinion coz u r the one who'll purchase, thats my advice, take it or leave it ^^

Guys, my brother bought this phone yesterday, its really an amazing phone even I and his friends wanted to buy it. Those who critisize how it looks are kids who speak without knowing anything, they even didnt hold it in hands. we tested its camera all the day, indoor and out door, it was great and I can say its one of say the best 5 megapixel cameraphones, although the flash doesnt support the indoor shots, its still not bad by raising the exposure, resulting in a little noise on the negative side. Video capturing quality wasn't great thou, may be as good as the Nokia N82. the phone features are nice, the interface and usability, every thing was cool and i didnt notice any lag. but the battery runs out fast under heavy usage in one day (playing with it all the time but with the Wifi and Bluetooth turned off). The most impresseive thing everybody will like is the screen, you cant imagine how greate watching videos and viewing images with zooming in is until you try it for yourself. Just one last sentence, DO NOT judge this phone unless you've tried it.

Wow, It makes me wonder if you lot who are saying negative things about the phone have actually USED it. I was honestly starting to believe all the negativity you guys are spewing. "its too long, remote control, wont fit in hands, or pocket. untill I used it...." first of all, its the perfect size for a portable phone, the ergonomics make sense, its not too small, or long to feel awkward to use. the length fits perfectly in the hand, unless you are a 3 year old child, that's not even an issue. and it has a nice weight to it. all the phones I have purchased were based functionality/aesthetics.
that being said, I have a few gripes with this phone.
web experience is clunky, drains the battery like mad. OS is pretty, but slow, and a bit clunky as well. just consider this an beautiful phone, with cool features and you wont be disappointed. I'll be happy once the APP store is up and running.
style over substance for sure. but it pretty much has all your bases covered. great media playback experience, brilliant form factor, web browsing... makes phone calls...

In terms of style and sophistication, this must be about the coolest phone out there. I was considering getting either this, or the cheaper BL20. After reading the BL40 specifications and review, I must agree with some of the criticism in the comments section, and will probably choose the BL20. I do not need anything a smartphone offers over a normal phone, but I still might have gotten this one if it actually *were* a smartphone - a device of this calibre really should have come with a common OS, preferrably Android. And then there's the fatal flaw of any smartphone: battery life. A stronger battery and an AMOLED display would have helped this a bit. Design is a matter of taste of course, I find it extremely elegant, but these 2-3 improvements could have made it one of the best phones on the market. But as it seems, all it really has over the BL20 is WLAN and GPS, and I won't pay double the price just for that.

A bit too slick? The 1000 mAh battery will ruin the device, plus it seems a bit too expensive.

This or the Iphone are the best phones of all time. Don't even try and dispute it, you'll just make yourself look foolish.

You all do realize that the SD card has to be put in this phone by "Removing" the back cover correct? That can be very annoying at times. Remember the Original Ngage was just like that and it got very very annoying. Good design "Too long in my opinion" bad flaw.
