Sony Ericsson Satio review: Shooter by vocation

27 October 2009
Sony Ericsson have long ago shown that they are not afraid of any challenge, producing handsets that have claimed a top spot on the market. There are still plenty of fans from those good old days that would love to see another market-leading device thrown their way...

Ann134, 05 Mar 2010Okay, is it just me or does the Sony Ericsson Satio feature... moreIf you are to buy the lg arena, you might want to buy it second hand. I just sold mine for 150€.

my advice is: don't buy it at all.
phone is slow, battery life unimpressive, and no compatible apps at all

I think you should update the review with new video samples.

Ann134, 05 Mar 2010Okay, is it just me or does the Sony Ericsson Satio feature... moreSpoken like a true ignoramus. Of course it's the same, it shares the same OS, Symbian S60. FYI, Nokia is NOT Symbian, it's just that a big chunk of Nokia phones use it. Though you've got a point that if you can have another clumsy OS for a cheaper price (despite the obvious advantages it sports ie Camera, full Flash support, seamless processing power, good looks and the list goes on...) why get this one?

Okay, is it just me or does the Sony Ericsson Satio features looks EXACTLY the same as my Nokia 5800 Express Music? I have longed to buy a Satio but its really expensive here so i didn't. But now that I've seen the inside of the Satio, it actually resembles my current phone! Its like totally exactly the same! Thank god i didn't buy the Satio.

I'm going to buy the LG KM900 Arena soon.

I advice anyone who wants to buy a Satio to just buy any new Nokia touchscreen phone. The insides are exactly the same and most of the Nokia phones are cheaper than the Satio.

                    Its up to you though.

Screen quality, UI, camera quality are all way too excellent. It is a perfect combination of Cybershot and Walkman Sony Ericsson phones. Battery and price is where Satio lacks. Sony Ericsson must concentrate on battery and pricing (like Samsung is selling phones at an incredibly low price)
Rest, I assure you the quality of the phone is the best in its segment. The Samsung Pixon 12 may be a slightly better in image quality (only by a few inches, and gets beaten by the Satio also in many aspects), but the overall phone quality, UI, software is no close to that of Satio. Sony Ericsson did it yet again...

The muscle in my leg were the phone lies twitches and has done constantly for a week and has never done before . I know it amits more radiation than any other phone but i wouldn't expect that

the satio does have a terrible bat . I have to charge mine every day! and the worst thing is that apart from the media it is identical to either nokia 5800 or a n97 . I dont want a nokia i want a SE . The great things about SE av been lost with this handset .

according to dailyrecord.co.uk, this phone emits more radiation than other handsets.
in fact SE has 4 handsets in the table which lists 10 handsets producing the most radiation.

i think GSMArena should cover this story about phone radiation too.
