I bought this phone for my wife more than a year ago. She's still very happy with it. I am too. It's very sturdy despite the daily abuse it takes. Aside from calls and text messaging, she uses it frequently to watch movie clips and browse the internet.
Overall, it's a very good phone.

I'm considering buying the OmniaLITE, and I have a couple questions:
1. Is it hard to find software on the Microsoft Marketplace that is compatible with the 240x400 screen?
2. Does it have voice dialing? (can I record someone's name and associate it with a phone #, and then say that name and have it automatically dial that number?
3. If yes to 2, can I initiate voice dialing from a bluetooth headset?
Thanks!

You guys complain in your review that there is no landscape mode while texting; apparently you're wrong. In other reviews in the net there are even screenchots of landscape QWERTY keyboard. I guess you should correct this part in the review. I was considering OmniaLITE as my next handset, but the lack of landscape qwerty kb in your review made me thinking it might be not so good idea...

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2009Samsung said the Omnia (which was somehow short for All in ... moreAs the name suggests, it is Omnia lite, aimed for mid to low range pricing. Omina II and Omnia HD, you will find what you saw in Omnia.

Overall there is nothing wrong with this phone except for the fact that it does not have a 3.5mm audio jack. Enough reason to never ever buy it! Go for Blackberry or similar Nokia with 3.5mm audio jack. I rest my case.

I'll miss in the reviews: speed to transfer music from pc, speed scrolling trough music titles in the phone.

Samsung said the Omnia (which was somehow short for All in one)
but did't they say it was gonna be some high end elite series like the Nseries used to be?
the original Omnia certainly looked high class, its box was all fancy and said A Ture all in one phone...
what the hell is this crap
