i juz bought my Aino 2 days ago (i used w910i before),and damn...i'm loving it!its really amazing with its simple yet easy option. while my bf using N86, today he saw my aino for the first time. and juz like what i tought, he asked me either my aino is worth to buy or not seems i spent lot of money to bought it..( expensve than his phone >.< ).Then, i asked him to try it before he continuing mumbling n telling me his N86 is better than mine. U know what? After few seconds, he smile @ me n saying "honey,can i switch urs with my N86?"..Aino,I Know Fun (^^,)

Expensive in $,£,€.... lacks in features---- not a smart phone, 8mpix huge cam is childrens barbie toy bcas there is no xenon or powerfull dual LED in N86, limited touch screen is the worst innovation in SE history, as a multimedia hulk we hardly.misses 3.5mm jack, micro usb port, sick battery, perfect capacitive touchscreen is really ditched by limited touch functionality, looks like TV-REMOTE when slides out..... i think satio, N97mini, N86 are the best choice...... SE i luv' u lot but weed a perfect phone like K790i

u know wat would be smart was if Sony made more apps for da touchscreen part...like a messaging one (to send msgs) & a contacts a time management one. I think media & personal management are nice for touch, not really games...i guess thats just me lol

I would never EVER again BEG a SE mobile to charge...
It's as simple as that: the SE charging/pc connection port goes out of order ONCE A YEAR!
And SE does not simply care about it...
I've had enough of my Ps (p900,990 etc) and I don't intend to wait for another 3 months to have my mobile fixed by a fed-up service point!

robbase, 09 Nov 2009if you look at a picture of the keypad you'll notice a mute... moreyou the first person to tell somethingn that i said and insisted all this time ,,, sony ericssons are made to last ,, and thats is the reason that they are slightly more expensive than the other manufacturers. .
i have 26 se mobile phone and till now no mobile failed mechanicaly or even had a problem with the software..
i always prefwer the normal Java phones of sony ericsson , they are limited in function but are more user friendly and easy to use and the functions are to the point.

looking for aino, 09 Nov 2009three questions:
wonder if i can initiate a call or sear... moreif you look at a picture of the keypad you'll notice a mute button on the #key. Just push and hold this and it will mute the phone. This is the same as all SE phones, i believe.
I don't have this phone (yet) but i plan on getting it soon. I would like to say that i love SE phones simply becuase they are user friendly and they last forever. I have not used a more intuitive phone than a SE. Also... one thing that cannot be evaluated in a short-term review is how long a phone lasts. Many phones start to get laggy and buggy after months of use. This never happened to my SEs.
Thanks for the review GSMarena!.

What OS system have the Aino?
For those who are asking if they can answer the phone locked, yes you can touch based, read the details on Aino manual on SE site, you can answer touch based, mute, put on speaker and reject

looking for aino, 09 Nov 2009three questions:
wonder if i can initiate a call or sear... more1. No, you can't initiate a call in keypad-closed mode. You can't even access the phonebook - you can just accept or reject calls.
2. No idea, but I suppose about 4-5 days.
3. I'm not sure, but I think you can.

again! a new SE phone with no password protected keylock. Nokia have it on ther series40 and s60 phones!. A phone today is like a small computer, you should be able to protect your persenel information. And it is a suprise for me, that this big mistake is not pointed out in the review. I love the layout of SE phones, but i choose nokia to have this feature.

MWC, 08 Nov 2009You dont need to slide the phone open to answer. there is a... morethree questions:
wonder if i can initiate a call or search for contact while the slider is closed? and if not ,does that option can be available later by update?
another question how long does the battery stand if you turn off 3g wifi etc?
3rd question can we mute the ring using the volume keys , as this option is available in all previous se phones

EX SE Owner, 09 Nov 2009Let's see.....
* No standard USB port
* No 3.5mm ... moreLet's see.....
* No standard USB port
*** It comes with a USB Cable...
* No 3.5mm audio jack (but there's one on the Bluetooth headset)
*** It comes with Bluetooth headset, with 3.5mm Jack
*** Decent Bluetooth Headset cost up to $100, these are free.
* Touch control is limited to camera, gallery, multimedia players and some Java apps
*** Matter of getting used to. When slider is out, you use keypad, when closed, you use touch screen. SIMPLE!
* Media library updates very slowly in the touch media menu
*** Only first time you insert memory card. I assume this is to reduce the load speed when you actually use the menu!
* No DivX/XviD support
*** Non-Issue. There are tons of online apps. Or even the SE MediaGO
* No xenon flash
*** Although this would be nice, it will evidently cost alot more. This is not the selling point of this phone.
* No camera lens cover
*** Nor does 95% of the phones out there. Although it would be nice to have it... Matter of design I suppose.
Also, it's Overpriced (i.e. EXPENSIVE)!
@350 Euros, this is a very good price.
For 350 Euros or lower, you get 8mp geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, image stabilizing camera with 30fps WVGA video recording... 3" 16M Colour touch screen, keypad, Playstation3 Remote play, Wi-Fi...
This is a very very good price!

Just not worth it!
May consider Rachel, um... er... X10, IF it's "affordable"!
Doubt it, though!
