Sony Ericsson Elm preview: First look

30 December 2009
The Sony Ericsson may be green at heart but it sure looks like a red hot package complete with imaging, connectivity and novel design. Makers are keen to ride the green wave and phones are rushing to catch up. It seemed Sony Ericsson's GreenHeart had a slow start...

screen size depend on individual as not all people require big screen on their phone and with big screen you'll have to increase the phone size and weight. This phone is perfect for everyday use and the splash resistant feature is a welcomed feature.

The Phone design is very ugly... My K700i and my T68i still looks much much more better than this... It looked like those BenQ phones... How much it cost? $99?

Nightmare on Elm Street more like...Sony Ericsson are getting more niche by the day, what with the "pureness", "greenheart" phones...what happened to walkman and cyber-shot?

The metallic d-pad will fade in no time. I still remain a skeptic on the build quality of this phone. Maybe my opinion will change when i actually see it. I've seen Naite. The build quality is disgusting. Looked very cheap. The paintwork's poorly done. Used to think Sony Ericsson builds/creates quality phones. But now i don't know.

              "VGA video recording @ 30fps
              Video recording: QVGA@15fps video recording"
Line after line on first page "at glance".

I am so glad SE has brought back the fast port. The extra bulk that the fast port provide when connecting earphones to a SE phone makes the phone look unique and more expensive. Although the fast port is old and outdated technology, I like old school and impracticality.Thank you SE for including the fast port, that is the number one reason why I love this phone. Iphone R.I.P.

the old phone I just replaced was better than this. 256K color, no smartphone, no 3.5mm jack, and smallish screen... a ridiculous phone

                    I like it :D
Although I think this phone needs a better paint job.
I'd love to see this in a shade of green.
