I don't think GSMarena used the correct screenshots for this phone in this review. For one thing there should be no walkman icon in the menu, as it's not a walkman phone, and secondly i'm sure the icons are changed (for the worse) in the yari. they don't look that nice anymore. Anyway it's a good review.

It's super slugish and you even need to DOUBLE tap on entering menus! It's soooo frustrating! And that symbian UI makes you wanna throw your phone away in less than a month! Seriously! It's boring! The only reason why people actually buy it is because it "touchscreen" but trust me, it's soo frustrating to use especially with that boring slugish ui! And it's design is hideous! It looks like a total brick and it's fat!
I prefer this phone 'cause it looks waaay more stylish and sleek! Plus the user interface is so flashy and fun to play with! Everytime you enter menus there's always smooth animations! And the media player is the BEST of all! Plus the phone is fast! This is such a wonderul all-round phone! It's awesome! Especially the gaming part! This is totally waaay more awesome!

hello all,b'fore sorry my english is not good.This yari phone is good,the design is nice but have a little bit trouble,the trouble is when u off your phone,the phone will not off like usually it's must wait a few second,1st time a buy this phone i think is broken then allready i go to sonnyericsoon service

WOW it has 30fps VGA video recording and 16m color screen. It has cool RDS Radio.

Anyway the 5800 is in the similar price segment, we're talking 30Euro extra for everything Nokia's best-seller has to offer, wifi, maps with nav, 3,5mm jack, standard USB, ok the camera is at 3.2mpix but the Yari or KITAs 5mpix isn't that good if we are to believe this review. And I am being totally objective, just look it up.

got the phone for a week now, its specs are awesome lots of features, price is just right, its called "KITA" here in the Philippines =)the best phone i have so far =)

Why is everybody nagging on the reviewers, they feel the phone, they use it and if they don't like it then that's how they feel about it, what's the problem.
Yari looks like a modern phone, but it's not. No Wifi, maps and navigation are extra cost, no FM-transmitter, Fastport (r u kiddin' me), poor camera performance, poor ergonomics, theres more in the review, just read it.

I looove the design of this phone!
Slim, sleek and smooooooth.
I suppose the 2 gaming buttons is made for game developers?
And GSM not having the games to use those buttons is prob because they have different pre-installed games than the ones other countries might sell.
This is a great mobile for people out there who wants the basic, plus something unique, at the mid-range level. Not everybody wants a smart phone!

How would anyone buy this phone as at nearly the same price, you can get a smartphone from Nokia!
Worse still, no Wi-Fi!
I want Ericsson back!! Please make the phone like T39 again!!

Unfortunately, I will have to agree with GSMarena. Signal is really poor in this device. I purchased this device 2 weeks ago and since day one the signal is really bad (i have upgraded the firmware to the latest one). I compared it to the signal of my old device using the same SIM in the same spots.
