Ups again!
It is not fair to compare computer phone N900 vs meddle age bathroom soap iphone with half as small screen in resolution size, and missing flash and other scripts to download on the screen...!!

This is rubbish really!
Let's make phones with the same capabilities to prove correct speed on phones, otherwise this is silly fruity test..lol.
The iphone have small screen-size, and no flash player and other script disabled, so it makes speedy browser, it's because there is not much data do download on it, well, than lets take the Nokia5800xm to compare with it, anyway it has a larger screen-size that means more data and CPU resource is needed, but disable flash and scripts, than watch for a fair speed......, and this time won't bee silly for sure...lol!
It will blow your aples and bananas away for sure!
How about using SkyFire, mini Opera or Bolt on S60 nokia...., it will blow away most of this so called high-end and expensive phones..., ups you hate that, I'm sure!

about password manager/auto form filling:
"both Opera mobile implementation don’t have that and since Opera still haven’t included auto form-filling in their desktop browser you shouldn’t expect it to happen any time soon."
Uhm, ok? first of all, all opera mobile versions i've used have at least a password manager that works very well, but the full desktop opera DOES have full auto form filling with loads of auto fields/custom auto fields and password manager(the password manager, which logs you in when you click it, you activate by clicking the key, in most themes a blue one), i've used it as long as i can remember using Opera (since what, version 8?, Opera is at 10.X now)
Anyway, a nice review other than that, but i miss having a comparison of different browsers on the same phone/OS or at least mention alternatives at the OS:s reviewed

Nice test - if you're considering buying a new phone.
But not much help if you've got say one of the VERY common symbian phones, and wonders if you should try downloading an alternative browser or not.
It would have been nice with more tests on the same hardware.
And maybe same browser on different hardware.
Since this test is somewhat of comparing pears and oranges.
As you do state in the conclusion, the Nokia 5800 is not exactly a high end phone, so fast results is not to be expected. So we still are a bit in the void on how it performs on a high end Symbian phone...

Skyfire is still my favorite browser. Even if it shows checker board pattern a lot.

Very interesting. But honestly I dnt believe all of it. I have noticed there is no sign of the nexus one, I have had the 5800, iphone 3gs, hd2, and the milestone. I have to say the iphone 3gs does load fast but my hd2 beat it on many occasions due to the snapdragon. Honestly though the fastest browse speed lies wiv the nexus one, it leaves the iphone behind

Yes skyfire is the fastest browser But scrolling is very poor it take some time to redraw the contents so it's worthless.

I'm curious how LG does with there browser. currently using LG BL40 and find web surfing to be functional but painful. I find myself to have to rotate the phone regularly as each task requires a specific zoom and aspect ratio to be performed.
I still really wonder why one would choose to use a 4" screen with 4% of area compared to my normal 20" monitors. why surf the interent on a mobile device.
experiences with iPhone 3G yielded similiar conclusions.
