Past 1yr 1month though I feel some lag on some time, but apart from that its really good. Using my mobile as my PC now. A perfect one, no plans for a new phone until this die by its own. Need to know how long does a smartphone survive in my hand. In the past 1yr dropped my mobile more than 20times, I actually noticed that my GPS is not working now, tried a lot options no good result, might be due to the drop. But still this works like a charm, not sure whether Samsung packs mobile with the same box for GII.

I had this phone for the past 1 year 1 month and 10 days. Bes phone i ever had. I recommend it to both boys and girls because of its BADASS apps!!

I m using the phone since last 1 year...Its a gr8 phone..Xcept some lag in opening msgs...BUT OVERALL ITS THE BEST PHONE I HAVE EVER USED..
Just want to know if GALAXY SPICA vl get ANDROID 2.2 update or not????

I am having this phone for more than 7 months. The only thing i will say, dont upgrade to android v 2.1. The phone was quite fast and snappy, when using with 1.5 V. but after upgrading, its pain in neck. even opening call log takes more than 3 seconds usually, sometimes 5 seconds. all things got slowed down. even touch sensitivity. 800 MHZ cpu can't do anything, if RAM is so low. you need to be absolutely choosy to select applications to download. no more than 10 apps. if u r in need of one more, at least uninstall one of the previous 10. god bless you.
HTC are better with v 2.1; i think.

Actually, you can replace these 4 sticky icon. While in the main menu, press the "menu" button (top-left); tap "edit" and you can drag the menu around, including the sticky icon. To change the sticky icon with another, you need to remove one of these sticky icon first by dragging the icon to a menu page that has an empty spot, then add another one back by dragging in from the main menu.

I'm a little confused, does the spica have a Amoled display or not? different websites note different speqs (sure android 1.5 now replaced by 2.1, but some speak of TFT, some Amoled, some LCD.) any ideas?

This phone are not available as they have gone back for "upgrade" as the store tells me. I think its for the "update".

to my fellow pinoys here, you can have a FREE android OS upgrade in any samsung service centers as long as it has the samsung warranty.

You gotta be kidding me! 528mhz processor, 2,8inch resistive screen vs 800mhz processor, 3,2mhz capacitive screen. Really, GSMArena? Really?!

It has a very good battery life! 1500mA, note that. Nice and big screen is good for eyes. Google maps with street view is cool.

can you personalize the home screen using android 2.1 and how many text messages can you store in all folders? Also, is it true that it lags sometimes?

Doesn't have Android Market ev... moretry samdroid.net, follow the instructions, or try samsung-firmwares.com, register they have all instructions on upgrading your phone to 2.1. than there's marketenabler app,you can using fake operator buy new apps unlike basic market app having just freewares, but with android market offering 60% of its app freeware you have enough to choose from.try the mods like deodex for themes, apps2sd to transfer your apps to sdcard etc, and at the end revert back to 1.5! with newer spicas having 2.1 pre-installed u need not mind it.try seeing youtube as to what this spica is capable of with mods.

Samsung is one of my favorite brands. Their products are really good quality. I also found some interesting mobiles on www.chinabuye.com. I can recommend that address to every good quality mobiles fan.
