Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini review: Shrink to fit

03 June 2010
It took a while before mobile phones became portable not only in name. At one point, small size alone made a phone something special. Calling and texting were all there was and twelve buttons were nonnegotiable...

why is it dat sony ericsson battery doesn't last longer, since the existence of mobile phones in Nigeria i started with k700i,k850i,w595,w750i,g900i,p1i,w960i.all this phones that i mentioned above gave me battery problems, moreso sony ericsson doesn't have applications like nokia phones,e.g real player is very important in phone pdf also is important, quick office and so on.major problem of sony ericsson is the battery i could remember when my w960i is 100% full then i browse for 1 hour then my battery drop to 46%.I'm using this medium to advise sony ericsson company to upgrade the length of their battery. Thanks for your response.

It´s a lovely little piece which I´m very fond of!!
Like it alot - recommended if you´re not in need
          of a large display.

Thats not sony's fault, but android does...
You can download bluetooth file transfer in android app store...
Or maybe it will be fixed in eclair or froyo...

Just got this phone a few days ago, very, very disappointed that there is no bluetooth file transfer i.e you can't send and receive music, photos from/to another bluetooth device. I'm disappointed that Gsmarena did not make it clear in their review(they said that you can't do it from the gallery, I thought that meant you could do it from somewhere else at least). In this day and age a phone that has bluetooth, but can't send/receive files!!!! UN freakin BELIEVABLE!!! I guess next time I must assume nothing, I'll be sure to ask the dealer if the mobile phone can make and receive calls!!! Sony Ericsson shame on you!!!

I just got it and it is my second Android phone. It is a fast and lovely phone and although the screen is a bit small, it works well.

                      Superb phone...
I have this one and its great.
                      Cam and audio are excellent.
                      Video player is good...

As far as keyboard goes, i am quite happy with quick text...
                      I recommend this phone.
BTW the battery can be replaced by Sony...
It is abit of difficult process, but it can be done..

Not to be nitpicking, but the phone with the lowest amount of buttons I´ve owned was my venerable old Nokia 3210 which had 16 buttons ;)

I think the X10 Mini makes perfect sense - I never felt safe trying to use a 3.2" slab on the move, but the mini can be operated one-handed, and with a good grip. It's like a mobile with Android, rather than a mini computer with phone abilities. :)
